Rapport - Mirri and Bastian - what increases it and decreases it - list here

Mirri likes watching you brew alcoholic beverages as other posters have pointed out. Not sure if you get a small bonus like a +1? for brewing Vvardenfell/Dunmeri specific brews like Matze etc? Need to prove that but it's hard when you don't have a numeric scale/meter indicator that gives you exact numbers.

Also to be specific, Bastian dislikes you cooking ANYTHING with cheese in it.

I swear he's an anti-Sheogorath aspect sent by Meridian to troll you everywhere around Tamriel. Change my mind.

can someone confirm that Ashlander daily quests being a + for Mirri? I unlocked and did them this evening, and unlike Fighter's Guild daily, I did not see Mirri's green +rapport adjustment icon appear in the rewards received floating list on my UI.

I know there are 2 different Ashlander dailies, but I did them both tonight. Unless the first cooldown after unlocking the dailies has to go down before they can start to result in +Mirri....

Only Numani-Rasi's dailies count, and not all of them. You might have gotten one that doesn't grant rapport, or something might have been changed in a patch - I haven't tested recently. If you're on PC I recommend using the addon LootDrop Reborn to track their rapport, as it will show the exact increases in your chat box when they happen.

Mirrir +75 visiting completed vault of Moawita as well as visiting completed Orisinium Relics
Might have cd and only for the 1st time visit(visit vault of Moawita 2nd day only +10)
Also, I think Bastian only +10 for eyevea or Arteaum once per day, can't get +20 even if visis both

Removed Mirri liking the gathering of Psijic Portals, per the patch notes
For Mirri, added +75 rapport for visiting a completed DLC collection quest location, with +5 for subsequent visits

Blackwood - encounter with 2 Argonians, 1 of whom has been dared to eat a bowl of tree sap. Killing the behemoth with Bastian gave him +10 rapport.

Mirri's fondness for portals only vanishes when the new update 31 comes out comes out on August 23 (September 8 for consoles). She still appreciates them at the moment.

Mirri loves completed DLC museum collections, but for some unknown reason, I don't see any rapport improvement from the musical instrument collection in Solitude (Greymoor), nor the Argonian Calendar in Murkmire. (The Dark Brotherhood "collection" of assassinated souls also does not work, but this kinda makes sense if Mirri is unhappy with the Dark Brotherhood sanctuary.)

The DLC/zone collections that do increase rapport for Mirri (from my testing) appear to include those in Wrothgar, Summerset (in Arteum), Elsweyr (Riverhold), Dragonhold (Sentinel), Vvardenfell, and Thieves Guild (inside the thieves' den in Hew's Bane).

The DLCs that do NOT have a collection that makes Mirri like you more appear to include: Imperial City (PvP zone, no companions), Greymoor/Western Skyrim (???), Markarth/TheReach (???), Dark Brotherhood (she doesn't like them?), Clockwork City (but there's a buff for just visiting the Brass Fortress), and Murkmire (???).

TBH, I was thoroughly disappointed that Mirri did not incur -75 on first seeing the completed Litany and doesn't get additional hits whenever she spots it.

As for the CWC collection, it's the factotum prototype, but it is no longer there once you complete it, instead becoming a furnishing, hence, can't be shown to companions.

Accidentally stole something out of a backpack and got -15, but the addon split it into -5 and -10. I think it's because I had auto loot on, and looking got me the 5 and taking got me the 10.

Actually, you can pick locks and look without penaties. What gets you scorn from Bastian is taking, getting caught, sometimes, getting in a fight with a victim/guard/observer, and killing them. Also, repeated stealing (you get a -10 hit that's on CD, but -5 for separate incidents).

the weekly endeavor being digging up 25 antiquities, I took the opportunity in Artaeum grinding one of my characters to do some very rough timing. When it comes to antiquity rapport increases (Bastian on scrying, and Mirri on excavation) that if they have been impressed by it, they won't be impressed by it again until at least 5 minutes have passed. (to accuracy of about a minute, 4 minutes was not enough, 5 minutes or more they could get positive rapport from it again.)

Yes I can confirm, when you unlock and do the "retrieve 8 things from that camp" quest the first time, no +Mirri. Should give +Mirri every time after that. Since those are dailies, it may be that you would only get the positive Mirri rapport starting the next day doing those. (No rapport from the other set of tents with the guy who wants you to hunt a beast, but of course, leveling up and getting the reward sacks is still of benefit.)

to the thieves troves I put both mirri and bastian away then loot the trove then pull them back out. I will do that on boats for mirri too. it only takes a few seconds to put them away and pull them back out. I also put them away when I need to really sneak as they will run off and kill stuff and pull agro sometimes. also if I am going to loot someplace, or kill someone for a assassin job. or go to the brotherhood etc. And I would like to know how you know if your rapport goes up or down I just see mine stay in the same place all the time never up or down and I don't see any numbers as to where they are so how you are saying +1 +5 etc how can you tell?

If you are on PC then there are very useful addons out there which do this, such as CompanionInfo by SkOODat

i find the whole reputation/rapport system kind of unecessary honestly, i only payed any attention to it on my main to get the keepsake unlocks, after that i just dont care lol

I noticed tonight when killing enemies with the Blade of Woe, Bastian never gave any negative reaction, in fact he commented about it with one of his general "they got what they deserved" type of comments. I never killed an 'innocent' though, perhaps that was the difference?

I think they may have changed, behind the scenes, some of the rapport because Bastian also used to give negative for interacting with a fence, and he doesn't do that anymore either.

As of U33 (or some point prior to the Anniversary event in April 2022), ZoS seems to have broken some of the rapport gain options for Mirri. I don't know if there is any similar bugs or changes for Bastian. Refer to this thread for more info. Short version: Ashlander dailies and most museum repeat visits don't work anymore (although I don't know about first-time visits). The museum in Orsinium is the only one that DOES work at the moment. (I have not tested FG dailies.)

As of Monday, April 25, the museum collections appear to be providing rapport normally again for Mirri (on the Live PC servers). This was not mentioned in the patch notes for v7.3.8, so it was either a stealth bugfix, or maybe just the server reboot (to install the patch) was enough to fix this issue. Tested on my stamblade on PC/NA by going to the Library of Vivec (Vvardenfell) and tapestry in Senchal (Southern Elsweyr) - PC/NA.
