    I have no idea really. It can be everywhere tbh. Especially if it is true that IC overland bosses will also drop another lead for different mythic.

    But, idk if it has to do with anything, but in the link you posted, there is something called "zoneid". Using other mythic item as an example (Bloodlord's Embrace), it has various leads, and all of those leads also have "zoneid" number.

    Zoneid 20 = Rivenspire and also Crypt of Hearts I.
    Zoneid 117 = Shadowfen , but also Sanguine's Demesne (and other places too).

    It kinda correlates with places where those leads drop.
    The missing items for Gaze of Sithis both have zoneId = 1261. But there is no zoneid with that number yet, which means that it is most likely Blackwood zone. This means:

    A: Both of those leads drop somewhere in Blackwood.
    B: Some information may be missing so the mined items have wrong zoneid or something, which means that my entire post is irrelevant lol :joy:

    I don't know about the xanmeer, but since that mentioned Elsweyr and Terror Birds, I thought it might be the Terror Bird world boss in N. Elsweyr (Wily Kee'va, Talon Gulch), but so far no luck. 🐔

    Drops:
    Tel Var Stones, Lead: Malacath's Brutal Rune Core

    It already drops a lead for different mythic item on live server...

    So umm... it is double RNG now ? We can get one lead or the other or two leads at once ?

    They had so many places left to place the new lead drop and they have chosen a spot that is already taken my other mythic... and it is IC lol...

    Truth be told I did not expected that as IC overland bosses will drop new IC monster helmets next patch... and on top of that new lead ? ? ?
    They really want people to go to IC it seems... :|

    Good spot on the zone id. My fear is that it may be placeholder as the location is unknown, but it does correlate against the other mythics leads.

    I just killed a blackwood world boss to the south the one with four arms. As the link mention xanmeer near soulrest which makes this pretty bang on. The world boss area is named "shattered xanmeer" as well which makes me think it may be round here. I am looking for potentially a loose item as they did with the pale order ring.

    I thought the same thing, normally the world bosses are sharing the loot table so I did kill one of them(not the bird one). I also remember "wraxu" being mentioned in alkyr. Since we haven't had a world boss drop it could be in either or neither 🤔

    Spent a solid 6 hours looking yesterday with no luck. I even made a spreadsheet based on locations where mythic leads have been found in an attempt to see some sort of pattern... It didn't help 😂 if anyone can think of any ideas I'll happily go look again, but I'm done for the time being.

    So I logged in to PTS and went to IC and killed that boss... and I got...
    Malacath's Brutal Rune Core...

    Which means that it is RNG. Not only you have to be lucky to get a golden quality drop, but also it has to be a lead for new mythic and not the old one...

    I dont like where this is going... :|

    Also... what if this is the case that applies to other new leads (like Gaze of Sithis for example) ? That it was added to loot table and it drops from a place where other mythics already drop ? Double RNG is horrible idea...

    I got the Kothringi Tidal Canoe also from a daily in blackwood. It is very very nice. I have wanted a boat for so long...and it is incredible.
