Yeh, I think the visiting Eyevea "rapport increase" is bugged, giving it to you when you enter the mage guild building the portal to Eyevea is located in, rather than when you go through the actual portal. I noticed that if your character is in the mages guild building when you log in to the game, you won't get the increase directly. At that time (with Bastian summoned of course), you can get the rapport increase by actually going through the portal.Deanathrae wrote: »I had a rapport increase with Bastian by simply entering a Mages Guild (the one in Wayrest, in case that makes a difference).

Mirri rapport decrease when we traveled to Vivec City by boat. I am thinking traveling with her to any region with an ocean coastline is a dislike.

I got a rapport increase on the 3rd one. it was the demonic chicken, if that matters.
I have probably been on 50 boat rides since the PTS, 10 tonight. I cannot get a rapport decrease. I can't help but wonder if I am getting the decrease, but the loading screen is just so long between zones that the decrease is no longer visible on my screen when I am finally off the loading screen.TechnoDreamVision wrote: »Kelinmiriel wrote: »I'm pretty sure I got a decrease from Mirri and a comment about her dislike of boats from porting to the exterior of Snugpod. I've been doing some serious testing with Mirri and the Flying Bugs (almost sounds like a band name, eh?) and the answer is:
She likes torchbugs and butterflies, and isn't happy when you kill them.
Torchbug: 4 decreases out of 8 bugs
Butterfly: 3 decreases out of 9
Zero decreases on any of the following, most notably Fleshflies, which are the only other insect that occasionally drops a specific green alchemy ingredient along with its insect parts (fleshfly larvae).
Fleshflies: 11 (number harvested with no comment from Mirri nor impact on Rapport)
Dragonfly: 10
Bright Moons Lunar Moth: 10
Fetcherflies: 10
Wasps: 1 (couldn't find these)
Winter Moths: 6
Also, it appears that there is a cooldown on the rapport decrease, of approximately 5-6 minutes, which is the only reason my decrease ratios on Torchbugs and Butterflies were as low as they were. I was harvesting them too quickly.
Thanks! Added.valdrakb14_ESO wrote: »I just completed the second quest for Mirri... it was available to me after the first one.. so they are seemingly very close in rapport requirement. Confirmed 500 for personal quest completion
Hmm. Seemed like I was getting the decrease for everything but Fletcher Flys on the PTS, but that was in the early days. I''ll make a concerted effort to test this. Thank you.Kelinmiriel wrote: »Perhaps the flying insect information could be updated to specify it's only Torchbugs and Butterflies?
Granted, perhaps no one cares that Mirri doesn't object to harvesting any other flying insects (even though they all give insect parts, and Fleshflies can also give Fleshfly Larva) but it's a real distinction. (Especially for people who fish - or people who harvest them to sell to those who fish.)Kelinmiriel wrote: »(Posted May 22 - edited slightly to clarify what the numbers indicate)

I found a new one. Taking Mirri into the Moawita Library place in Artaeum. She has dialogue and rapport increases.

For instance, it looks like you can't just read from bookshelves continously to increase rapport, but you can scry / excavate endlessly...

I'm willing to add cooldown information to the list, but it will take someone a little more neuro-developmentally dynamic then myself to collect it all with the exactness the testing deserves and requires.anitajoneb17_ESO wrote: »Suggestion : wouldn't it be a good thing to collect / register the cooldown time on rapport triggering actions ?

Yep, it's just torchbugs and butterflies it seems.Kelinmiriel wrote: »Hmm. Seemed like I was getting the decrease for everything but Fletcher Flys on the PTS, but that was in the early days. Thank you for noticing! I had seen that there seemed to be a pattern, so I spent quite a bit of effort doing testing.
The obvious indicator was her commenting. She hardly ever skips making a comment when you pluck a torchbug or butterfly, even when it's within the cooldown period so you aren't losing rapport. The other insects - never a single comment.
That's why I wasn't too worried about only finding one Wasp to test (I had a hard time finding the single ones that can just be picked out of the air), and stopped counting after 6 Winter Moths. By that time, I felt I had sufficiently proved the concept, and spent enough time on it.
I certainly don't mind further verification, though. I believe there must be other types of flying insects I missed - I found the list I used on uesp.net, which is usually as reliable and complete a source as any.
Have fun hunting bugs!
Today, it worked for 5/6 of my characters, but only when summoning Daemon chicken or Slate-skinned Daedrat. So, perhaps there are specific pets required and maybe when it doesn't work, your character might still be on some kind of cooldown from a previous attempt? Not sure.FrancisCrawford wrote: »saf227_ESO wrote: »FrancisCrawford wrote: »The non-combat pets one didn't work for me. I just summoned 3 daedric pets for Mirri on another of my characters. No reaction.
