I don't understand the fixation. like if you go to any guide website they'll tell you. DK tank = Best, everything else is worse and replaceable and has major weaknesses, DK doesn't

really don't understand the nerfs to the other tank classes.

    Yes, always has been. I remember when Dark Cloak was good in Summerset and they nerfed it to be more in line with other heals and then buffed DK heal few patches afterwards and now Dark Cloak gets a nerf. Its funny af.

    Well yeah they most likely nerfed it because PvP players complained about it, but that nerf will obviously also affect (PvE) tanking.

    and after all the work they did to balance the PvE tank heals by making them "in line with each other", they return to un-balancing again

    I'm really not happy about this change either why do PVE Warden tanks suffer because you want to nerf PVP wardens? When are you going to separate PVP from PVE like it should be and is in most games? Really makes me very salty about this game when you nerf PVE players to balance PVP. I do not even do PVP and yet I have to suffer for it.

    it's always been pve that gets shafted by pvp... why they still refuse to separate them, when they have the battle spirit mechanic available so they could tie skill changes to that, is anyone's guess.

    Nobody is flocking to DK tank lmao. Friendly reminder that DK is now the only class in the game without a heal scaling off max hp; GDB scales off 33% of missing health and only heals for a decent amount once you're already in execute range, which in PvP is a death sentence. Even if you had 100% of health missing (which means you're dead, btw) GDB would only heal for 33% of your health whereas Arctic Blast heals for 35% of your health, deals AOE DOT damage, is an unblockable, AOE 4s stun with 300% chance to proc Chilled, Minor Maim, Minor Brittle+Glacial Presence for 20% crit damage, and costs less. And that's AFTER it was just nerfed.

    Not just DD, when's the last time you've seen a DK healer? Stam DK has the worst damage, sustain, and healing in the game, with no execute, no purge, no spammable, no delayed damage, no burst, no crit chance or damage of any kind, and instead of actual passives we have stuff like "Increase the Duration of your Earthen Heart skills by 20%" instead of just making the base skills last longer. Create a problem, sell the solution, why make useful skills when you can make crappy ones and then slightly remedy them with passives?

    True - missing HP heal is pain.

    Sorc just heal 30% MAX HP as example ?

    So DK only can heal more if he is at 9% HP or less.

    So it is DEAD with a very big chance.

    But you need to heal to not get instant kill on full HP more often to have full HP before HA.

    Hmmm, well DK tank for me definitely feels the most selfishly tanky. I like to use my DK when I'm unsure of how hard something will be due to being new or new group. But my Warden and Necro tanks actually feel better for most content and that change to the warden self heal won't change that. If that's what this whole thread is about, then it's overblown. If there is some other change I'm missing, I'll look again if no one brings it up. Also, the changes to Templar will make my Templar Tank a bit more viable for end game challenging content.

    Take it through trials or PvP first and then try to tell me they're the same thing. Spoiler, they aren't. One works at any point, one only works when it's already too late, guess which one is more useful. And if there's no difference, what's the problem with making the heal scale off Maximum Health instead? Why does DK need to now be the only class in the game without a %Max HP heal? You can't have more than 100% missing health, last I checked, so even after the nerf, Arctic Blast still heals more than GDB (35% max>33% missing), on top of everything else it does. Stam DK is the worst DPS in the game, DK is the worst healer in the game, and the only class without a %HP heal. It needs to be addressed. For reference:
