Can a bot "force" a harvest node to respawn?

What I mean with the title is, is there a way for a harvest bot to force a harvest node to respawn immdediately after it has been harvested (and de-spawned). My reason for asking is while I was running around in Stonefalls, I came across this bot, parked at one Jute node. Nothing weird there, but the node respawned very fast. I have seen lots of harvest bots, and even just normal players farming nodes, but this respawn was a little bit excessive. So I am just trying to find out if this is normal (IE - within current game mechanics) or not. I have reported the bot and submitted a bug ticket, in any case. To see what I mean, I have uploaded a short clip:

(Sorry for the poor quality)

It happens... I've had metal ore nodes respawn immediatly too... If one does, I "will" ofcourse tap it again... don't see anything wrong with it :)

The number of times it respawns in the video however does seem a bit exessive... you could ofcourse, if you so wished reported that node for being bugged... But that is your choise ofcourse

The statement "if you put enough monkeys behind enough typewriters... sooner or later one will produce the works of Shakespeare" has sadly been proven utterly wrong by the internet...

I think its just exploiting a broken respawn lol If they can bring nodes into the game i think they are running the game..

I think some of the notes msut be bugged.
It would take some serious master level hacking skills to abuse the system to keep respawning nodes on command.
If botters had that ability, they would just hack in permanent gold and leave the farming behind.

I like my healing like i like my characters: generic

Yeah, it does look like it is just the node itself that is bugged with a very short respawn timer. The one next to it as well. So now there are two bots running between the two nodes just harvesting as they respawn.

    To answer OP's question. No

It's more than just one or two bugged nodes- check out the video I took earlier this evening https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t72Nxvog2KA

    Changing my previous response.

They're not forcing the node to spawn - they're abusing the system that keeps all the nodes in an area from being empty at the same time.

All they have to do is camp a certain number of nodes in the same "node group" and it won't let the nodes remain empty.

Clever, both ways.. but this needs fixed.

They don`t even need a bot to do this...just some program that can "press E" every few sec.
This can be fixed just by spawning nodes in a random area not in same spot.

    Yes.
    I see 2 solutions.
#1 - randomize the grouping, so they can't Camp them.
#2 - remove the feature completely - meaning Nothing to harvest if the area has a fair population of players.

    Let's Hope they go with #1. ;)

Tried this a few times yesterday and yes it would seem if all nodes in an area are being harvested quickly they also re-spawn faster.

As for it being an exploit, I can't see it as one as long as the person doing it is at their keyboard.

I've come across the same thing in Stonefalls, made a ticket since i felt it wasn't intended to respawn that fast. Bots and players just stand there farming almost instant respawns. The answer i got from support was not to farm those, since it sounded like an exploit.
    Greetings Adventurer!

Thank you for contacting The Elder Scrolls Online support team! In particular, thank you for taking the time to ask if this is legal. At this time, I recommend that you do not use this method. Please report these nodes as bugs with "/bug" in game. These sound very much like an exploit in the game and people farming them could be suspended or possibly banned.

I think you are right. Looks like there is a bot next to each and every node nowadays.
