thats from the origin-thread about nBRP beeing a good XP source @Mariusghost84
but keep in mind that the "optimal grind" consists of beating the first 4 stages and then reset the arena, since the whole idea is to farm it solo.

the idea is to farm it duo. faster, easier clear plus the 2man xp boost.

In the magdk version, the DK uses AOEs and chains in the center to create a killzone (elfbane is good for this plus a little tankier if there is an accident), while magplar drops center AOEs and interrupts leftovers with toppling/jabs. In the two magplar version, we split the room, to keep interrupts up, only coming to the center for the knights. Bar has self heals, buffs, lots of AOE damage.
If it were up to me I would look more at why players are just doing the first 4 rounds and restarting as opposed to finishing the entire content.
I would increase the XP per round, so that the last round is the most lucrative, but lower the XP in the first 4 rounds, and increase the XP for boss kills then use the same formula for other 4 person content so that BRP isn't the only one players run.
That way the opportunities for doing other content are increased instead of just reducing the one that is being used.

Until people stop sharing things like this on 'The Official Forums'...
it's one thing for them to come in and play all content and check stuff
and quite another for folks to come repeatedly posting maps, locations, numbers, videos...
it ALL gets the bat. Everything that gets posted on these forums like this gets the bat;
been watching it happen since start.
There are other so many other places to post this kind of thing that isn't a direct slap in the face of the company *sigh*
sorry i cant follow you? you say i shouldnt have made this discussion?
This 2x dps and much less damage.perfiction wrote: »

random FG1 proves this, it was an old consent before it went public.YandereGirlfriend wrote: »Until people stop sharing things like this on 'The Official Forums'...

No, he's saying that the people who bragged about BRP XP and put in on ZOS' nerf radar screen are the ones who should have kept quiet.
It's the same reason why high-end players tend to keep their secrets to themselves or only to trustworthy inner circles... because the moment that it gets posted in a public place it is a 100% certainty that it will posted here and then be nerfed.

Yeah it's perfect solution for many reasons.
4 man content - Mobs are tougher and hit harder than usual - it should give more XP.
No loot or gold - It comes with a price
Instanced - so nobody disturbs anyone - it's especially important during events, when thousnads of players will try to find a spot for them selves.
It requires DLC - Come on ZOS, you can sell more copies of it.
Don't nerf it, just don't.

skyreach and public dungeons are at a lower difficulty than blackrose, i dont understand why they should have the same ammount of XP gain? is there any argument for it?
nBRP grind is boring as ... Playing this game is about fun. Why make the best grinding spot such a torture? More XP in Public Dungeons would allow for more variety. It might be even nice when getting those skill points with new characters to actually do the quest there and the other bosses, because you know you get ok XP along the way...skyreach and public dungeons are at a lower difficulty than blackrose, i dont understand why they should have the same ammount of XP gain? is there any argument for it?

I don't get behind the logic that such a grind should be more rewarding than the way the game is meant to be played. We are talking here about 2x the amount the former best grind spot is giving you! It is over the top!
Why has it been a secret for so long? Because those already grinding it for months knew it is over the top and will probably be nerfed.
If you are talking about difficulty - how much more XP do you think are you gaining by doing a trial hard mode instead of normal mode? nBRP actually avoids difficulty by leaving before the boss stage - because your xp gain will drop...
Public Dungeon mob groups are more difficult than overland mob group, still they are worth LESS XP than overland mob groups.
The only thing making sense would be to either nerf nBRP or to buff everything else.

If someone is getting jealous because others are able to grind exp (which is totally normal for MMO) then he or she is playing wrong game. We need to stop this "it has to go because I can't get it" attitude or we will end up with free 3600 level for everyone and furnishing houses will be the most rewarding part of the game. Some players need to stop pulling down other players interested in end game. Accept the fact that mmo genre, similar to real life, is also about competition and getting better in different aspects of the game. Accept the fact that casual and veteran players can coexist but if you enter veteran content unprepared, it will end badly.
You wouldn't have "fun" if it were nerfed to Skyreach level or at least closer to it than double the amount?Don't like it? Don't do it but let others to have "fun".
