What I like most is the well-rounded world design and most of the design of the PvP with three factions. Also the music is quite good in many places (my favorite one's are Cyrodil/Craglorn and Vvardenfell)
I like that there is still the classical trinity healer, tank, dps in the game, which is at least required at the level of PvE end-game.
I wish that we will get a new adventure zone with group overland as it is done in Craglorn, to have more of a challenge and variation for veteran players. There is often criticism of the overland being too easy. Let us get some more places where it is more challenging.
I used to love love love, now its just good memories I can't lego easily ... I come back to this game a month every new year to just check out whats new.
This game keeps me coming back, I have looked at the new MMO's coming out and nothing has the depth or scope of this one. Solo friendly, group friendly, lore, history of a solid base of single player games. It has everything. I love playing this game.
game will be better if they remoove everything they did since june 2019

While I love the TES universe, and have been playing this game since beta, I have to say I'm nearing the end of my rope with this game. The constant crashes and performance issues are killing this game for me and for my guildies, many of whom have left already...
I would love more than anything on this Earth just to win the Powerball; but, allright, that's just me. So, you must be new to the game. Ha ha. Nahh.. it's cool. Glad you have something to enjoy so much about and get you through your day better. It's all good..
Well, not so much loving ESO right now. It's the same with every DLC and chapter releases; bring new and re-occurring bugs, glitches, crashes and freezes all over again. It was particularly horrendous with the previous Markarth DLC and same is repeating itself all over again with this DLC/update; bluescreening galore, weapon swapping delays, skills delay and misfiring, yadda, yadda. Loving this inventory actions delay with this update too. Ugh.. history repeating itself with every new content releases and the enduring wait for the multiple attempts at fixes and patches to follow. Somewhat normalcy then returns for a bit, until the next DLC or chapter release, and then press repeat.
Why then are peeps like me still messing with the game all these years if so many issues.. you ask? Well, I still enjoy the game when it is working right (just have to endure the lengthy times for the fixes and patches,) and I enjoy taking each of my different toons all over greater Tamriel and wreaking havoc on world bosses and whatnots. Well.. particularly the female toons; their backside aren't so bad to look at either while frolicking around. Ha ha
after playing for 3 years, I lately woke up from a dream. In a subway train, had 2 daughters, twins. 2 smol bosmer with pigtails,
making fun and kidding me.
Can you call it "love" when you start dreaming of your toons?
love or not, the game helped me a lot to distract me from real life when my fiance died from cancer 4 years ago.
I used it to flee reality, and I think this was an appropriate strategy, as it helped me to suppress the overwhelming pain until I was able to live with it (time heals wounds, at least reduces them).
[snip] Personally I’ve been playing on and off since beta and I like that they shake it up every now and again like with the CP system. Keeps it from getting too stale. Ik most people hate that, but I enjoy having goals in the game and new experiences. I love the game so much I’m still here even when newer MMO’s come out with flashier graphics and other interesting mechanics. They just don’t hold me like ESO does tho.
I do love eso a lot not as extreme as you but still a lot , not only because it is such a fun game to play but also because of the great players.
I am very ill and eso has helped get my mind off at moments when I was really bad and in a lot of pain.
For me on the bad days eso helps me and then I am member of a great guild who are understanding and who have become good game friends.
I'm a newbie and for me, ESO is nice to chill solo and relax aside of my main games. For the content I do and my lazy way to play it, I enjoy it very much. However, to be honest, there are too many things I don't like, bothering me every times I play. It prevents me from investing more efforts/time/emotions into that game. Sorry for saying that. Purely a matter of taste of course.
I'm out of my mind, feel free to leave a message... PC/NA
I love ESO, but I'd love it more if we had better guild management tools so I wouldn't have spend half my game time in spreadsheets that are so involved at this point that they should be proprietary lol.
I have gotten quite good at Google sheets, though, I guess there is that.
wow...I'm speechless. Assuming you're not trolling, I'd say you definitely need some productive hobbies. I can list 100 single-player games that are better than ESO in an instant. Give me some time and I can list 300 games that are superior to ESO in design, screenplay, art style, creativity, innovation, etc. Not to mention other genres like films, literature, music, etc, all of which have hundreds, if not thousands of years of history. Seriously, play less ESO and read more books. Just FYI, it's not a great idea to walk 5 hours outdoors amid a pandemic...
Not sure why OP has bumped this after so much time, but if everyone else is gonna jump in, I will too b4 lock....ESO has been my gaming "primary residence" since beta. I play other games and love them, but I keep coming back to ESO!

Getting lost in TESO Tamriel and beyond since Beta 2013!
Alliance agnostic: all factions should chill the fetch out and party together.
If you ever wonder why certain official fandom spaces are so often toxic and awful, remember: corruption starts from the top. ^^v
