Jesus Christ you guys...
Who is complaining about GM's showing up? That is the best freaking news I've heard all day! I'm certain more people are excited about this then not.

No, I know, it's just the fact that anyone is complaining is baffling to me
I suspect the VR group is the group providing the primary source of income for these Gold Farming companies.

The fact that they couldn't see the future bots coming means they got owned! YEAH!
You keep using that word but I don't think you know what it means.

This just isn't true.
In fact, I just went through a dungeon in Stormhaven - the name escapes me at the moment - and there were NO bots and barely any players camping the boss. I killed the boss 3x, got a blue, and got out of there.
You're being slightly dramatic, imo.
Gotta agree with you. I've been through many dungeons leveling up to VR2, and I haven't seen a single bot in a dungeon. NOT ONE. Lol. I've only seen them standing at wayshrines, personally.

Agree. They may be bad in the super-low level starter zones, but once you get to the higher level zones and VR content you won't see many (any?) bots around. Resource nodes also become more plentiful and available.

There's only sellers because there's buyers. Now, shall we say half of ESO sales are made from bots? I don't see how that would be much a problem for them...you know endure the bots this first month to show how good ESO sold in the first month...hmmm...maybe I'm just paranoid.

Common friggin sense dictates that another group will IMMEDIATELY replace the first.
Now.. the ONLY logic I can possibly see to this.. is that maybe that GM moved to another instance to ban more bots. In which case.. it's still an uphill losing battle they will NEVER win.. because the core mechanics of the game have designed them to fail.
I choose not to watch them get slaughtered anymore. That is all.

I really don't understand why people would buy gold for eso.... Other mmo's I 100% understand because money is useful.
In ESO gold is basically pointless and not needed for much.
It funny that gold farmers can even make a profit from ESO.
But yeah until ZoS change the way the dungeon bosses work, they will never win. These public dungeons should be instanced to you and your group. You get to kill the boss once, once the achievement has unlocked the boss will not spawn for you again, only for a group member that hasn't got that achievement so you can help them kill it if needed. Simple fix.
How has ZoS Still not figured something like that out yet!

I think my point is made. You found ONE dungeon without any bots in it.. congratulations.. you hit the ESO Lottery.. Enjoy.
Everyone else is in bot hell.
Why can't you people simply opinie to the topic and refrain from ending with this disgusting lack of tactfulness?coryevans_3b14_ESO wrote: »You and your wife must be a blast to hang around, being as how you're so completely reactionary.

This guy and his wife need to realize their fight (if they are genuinely disappointed gamers and not troll bandwagon jumpers, or devs from another game shite posting dun dun dun)is with the people buying gold.
Bots aren't here for the fun it.
Look the ESO guys have said they are aware and are trying to quench it. If any of the crap in the op post here has truth to it (not it happening in game but his personal experience) how do we not know the exercise was to see if what happened was going to happen.
Banning a group of bots and more appearing. The GM left after that, that whole exercise may have been to witness just that to see how active they are and how quick the turn around is.
I'm not pulling stuff out of my ass here i'm just thinking logically and thinking it will be gradual fixes in patches coming.
Oh and you know what, they claims of "oh but I won't be here then I'll never come back blah blah"....look you may go to wildstar or something, sure that's fine...
If however you were here due to your love for Elder Scrolls, then if it gets a lot better, of course you will be back, why the hell wouldn't you be. Who exactly are you trying to kid?
Stop stop this brattish melodrama. Makes me think a lot of you are autistic cave dwelling socialphobes who have real problems rationale, patience, and just gods honest logic.
Not happy don't play and don't pay. ESO works or not, it's not life threatening THIS IS ENTERTAINMENT... if all of this is truly even remotely getting you all pissy...
You need help, REAL, help.

All you needed to say was:
"If you don't like the product, stop paying them. Come back when you feel like they have addressed the issues."
Which is exactly what I'm doing.
I'm sticking around the forums though because it's entertaining.

The simple fact is , it would cost a LOT of man power to counter this , it is not viable.
Zen will eventually make a change that makes this less atractive , and only then this problem will be solved.

It actually wouldn't take a lot of manpower at all, it takes common sense and planning. First off, GM's have the ability to warp around the game world. They already know this is happening in every dungeon in the game. Get a list of the dungeons, set yourself a rotation and warp around...ban...move on to the next...ban etc. If I worked an 8 hour shift I'm quite certain I could cover every dungeon in this game multiple times over and ban a lot accounts along the way. Have 2 or 3 people doing this and it starts to overwhelm the botters. After a few times these folks will move on, just like they did in GW2 because the money it's costing them is more than what they make. The problem is the lack of consistency.
