I'm starting to wonder if people are planning on paying a monthly sub for this game, just to come on here, doss up a post like this, and then sit at the PC screen hoping the cyber friends will come flooding in.

MMeeeeee they are talking to meee on my posssttt mine.. I have friendsss..... finallly yeeessss.....

Quite honestly, all the facts about bugs, botters and spams, were as clearly posted on here, as best as they ever could be, a good few days ago.

When posting this, you knew 100% is was adding nothing. It wasn't constructive critisim, It wasn't anything new what so ever..

All it was doing is getting yourself attention, like a child repeating that funny thing mom and dad said hoping for the same reaction.

It's pitiful really. especially when I gather your age is above 16 years of age, inyet your rational behavior isn't.

Your post here is a troll post. Nothing more, it will accomplish nothing.

At least when boogie does a video as francis to entertain, a lot like Angry Joe, you're just another ugly blemish we wait to slide down the plug hole when the free time ends.

I hope you stay left buddy. Truly. I'm sick of it, really sick of it.

Oh boo hoo you don;t care, well i'm not the only one sick of these dullsit posts, and yeah maybe you don't care about that too. I kinda gathered that, as that didn't come into your thinking when you decided to type out your second hand crap.

It isn't trying to save or help this game anymore it's just me me me me OH read mine please pleasseeee I definately type this troll bs better than the last 500 people.

Just leave man. Go and take your partner with you.

Maybe come back and try the game again in a few months, then if it isn't for you stay gone. It's a WIN, WIN then for everybody.

Yeah you've paid to play the game, yeah you have a right to post, and yeah yeah yeah to all the usual retorts.

Truth is though, your fecking boring. Real boring.

I'm not a fan boy, I like the game at the moment sure, I accept the bugs and hope they will be fixed, perhaps they won't be, and yeah ok if they aren't I'll stop paying.

....none of that justifies you, and the million other bandwagon jumpers of this utter, utter, negative shite on this forum. It's just making visiting the forums a real chore, and it's a shame because that's exactly what you, and the other ones like you aim for ultimately isn't it.

Take your bitterness and your sulking away lad. SHOO.

Ah, well I can certainly understand the complaints. Just an hour ago, I was trying to kill a dungeon boss for about 20 minutes. However, the 15 bots standing next to the spawn made it very hard for me and a few other players standing around. We reported them, but nothing happened. After I finally got credit for a kill, I hung out for a while to collect the blue item and the bots kept botting.

Right now this whole ordeal is a huge open wound that will need time to heal. People upset about this problem need our support and the support from ZOS.

I know for a fact that angry losers like you are the primary source of income for the gold sellers, you think everyone else is cheating you, and the only way to be succesfull is cheating yourself.

Just visited a stonefall cave which I hadn't cleared yet. I'm veteran 1 at the moment. Then I saw it for the first time about 10 bots or more

There were a lot of Mage monsters there so I used this mobs to kill the bots and help the people get boss kills. Of course the bots kept respawining. It would be an endless battle.

But then a gm shows up and bans them all.

    Awesome

Dang, customers can't win, can they? Everyone begs ZoS to fix broken quests, stop bots, gold spammers, repair code, etc. and after beta, release, countless tickets, countless forum comments, not much has been accomplished, and some people actually complain about frustrated customers?

Nothing will improve in the MMO so long as there are people that support/defend the garbage that is the present MMO. The status quo is just not good enough, which is why most MMO's are now FTP, as customers don't expect as much when it's FTP and accept the typical problems.

This title will fall into the FTP category, as it has already begun the downward spiral that other MMO's experienced. Sure you will have the fan boys and those who profit defend the title, but as we already have seen people will leave, ZoS will reduce staff, product will go FTP to try to maintain customers, product will suffer more, and quite a few who have tried this product will leave and will wait for the new Elder Scrolls non MMO title from Bethesda.

    You're being slightly dramatic, imo.

Gotta agree with you. I've been through many dungeons leveling up to VR2, and I haven't seen a single bot in a dungeon. NOT ONE. Lol. I've only seen them standing at wayshrines, personally.

Agree. They may be bad in the super-low level starter zones, but once you get to the higher level zones and VR content you won't see many (any?) bots around. Resource nodes also become more plentiful and available.

Attention Zenimax: Stamina builds don't hold up to magicka builds, and this is causing most of your class imbalance. It makes melee weapons and bows weaker than staves and class abilities. It makes medium and heavy armor less desirable than light armor. Fix this imbalance, and you'll address most of your balance issues.

The people shouldn't feel like they need to rush/skip content just to get past the bots, though. I don't think you mean this that way, but that is what it sounds like you are saying. Get past the low level content if you don't want to deal with bots.

Isn't it more realistic to say that these VR players simply power leveled at a rate faster then these bots? I'm seeing bots in the 40+ levels. At what point is a higher level zone considered higher level?

I've spent many hours in every zone taking time to do quests and to enjoy the game. You shouldn't suggest everyone power level quickly to out level the bots and get to the content that has yet to be touched by them.

But yeah until ZoS change the way the dungeon bosses work, they will never win. These public dungeons should be instanced to you and your group. You get to kill the boss once, once the achievement has unlocked the boss will not spawn for you again, only for a group member that hasn't got that achievement so you can help them kill it if needed. Simple fix.

nope, already gave it all away. Sorry. As for "powers" .. you are ABSOLUTELY right.. just one small problem.. THEY ARE CAMPING EVERY BOSS IN EVERY DUNGEON this game has. You cannot find ONE dungeon in this game right now without 10 templar bots in tutorial gear spear spamming the boss. NOT ONE. Common friggin sense dictates that another group will IMMEDIATELY replace the first.

Now.. the ONLY logic I can possibly see to this.. is that maybe that GM moved to another instance to ban more bots. In which case.. it's still an uphill losing battle they will NEVER win.. because the core mechanics of the game have designed them to fail.

I choose not to watch them get slaughtered anymore. That is all.

They're not in every dungeon. At all. The first zone or 2 maybe they are in most, but at higher levels there are none. You and your wife must be a blast to hang around, being as how you're so completely reactionary.

I think my point is made. You found ONE dungeon without any bots in it.. congratulations.. you hit the ESO Lottery.. Enjoy.

Everyone else is in bot hell.

    Actually, your point was:

"THEY ARE CAMPING EVERY BOSS IN EVERY DUNGEON this game has. You cannot find ONE dungeon in this game right now without 10 templar bots in tutorial gear spear spamming the boss. NOT ONE."

    And I found one.

Just saying, stop with the drama. The bots are a problem...I wouldn't deny that for a second. I have been in many dungeons with bots and have been annoyed just like everyone else. I'm just saying that words have actual meaning so it's important to choose the right ones to the best of your ability.

As to the actual problem itself, I am confident that in time Zen will get a handle on this. Not calling you out, but I think we could all take a deep breath and relax a bit. It will get worked out.

What's with all the yelling? This should be a thread where we tell the OP they were silly for /ragequitting over this, and to support the GMs and tell them to keep getting in there and fighting the bots.

What ZOS did by sending in a GM to ban bots by hand can only be a good thing - the more they do it, the fewer bots will be around till eventually they are destroyed and we can all get on with dealing to the regular bugs and glitches.

I hope ZOS keeps sending GMs in, regularly and frequently, and of course cycling between areas and instances all day would be ideal. Can't expect results from just one attempt.

Keep hitting the bots - eventually this WILL be effective.

I noticed the mention of bots teleporting further up this tread and thought I would recount my own experience yesterday in Glenumbra.

I was finishing up in Crosswych when in one of the rooms a bot appeared (looted?) and disappeared. The same thing happened when I went into another room of the inn. Teleporting bots.

Earlier I was looking for treasure around Beldama Wyrd Tree when right in front of me a bot appeared, harvested a log, then teleported to another log within my viewing distance. I have no doubt it was a teleporting bot going from node to node.

So my point is, if crafting is such an important part of this game, what happens when you can no longer harvest because of the bots?

Now, I think this is the best game I have played in years. However, that could change if this is not sorted out. And people can say what they want but there will always be those who break the rules and they should be blamed for this. BUT it is Zenimax's responsibility to stamp this out and it is a responsibility they cannot ignore if they want to keep their players.

Why do you think the guy only spent 15 mins of his time?

The simple fact is , it would cost a LOT of man power to counter this , it is not viable.

Zen will eventually make a change that makes this less atractive , and only then this problem will be solved.

It actually wouldn't take a lot of manpower at all, it takes common sense and planning. First off, GM's have the ability to warp around the game world. They already know this is happening in every dungeon in the game. Get a list of the dungeons, set yourself a rotation and warp around...ban...move on to the next...ban etc. If I worked an 8 hour shift I'm quite certain I could cover every dungeon in this game multiple times over and ban a lot accounts along the way. Have 2 or 3 people doing this and it starts to overwhelm the botters. After a few times these folks will move on, just like they did in GW2 because the money it's costing them is more than what they make. The problem is the lack of consistency.

To COMPLETELY get bots out of the dungeons and keep them out would require a massive amount of manpower. BUT the problem with long term solutions is that it "appears" to the playerbase that nothing is being done (Blizzard has this problem). But this appears to actually be a viable solution: just have a small number of GM's go around and ban the bots that they see. This will not get rid of the bots, and it certainly won't keep them out, but it's a MASSIVE PR boost, because players will see "something being done" and pass the word around. This will, in turn, cause people to actually report bots (because they feel "something is being done"), when before they might have just ignored them or not gone to dungeons or even quit the game. Then, the people doing the long-term job of combatting botting behind the scenes can do their jobs easier too.

This is not something Blizzard would ever do (they've said so many times), but it appears that ZOS is willing to take this step.

I wouldn't say that automatically. Like I said, I hung around and participated in The Secret World's boards for a couple months after I quit. Leaving the game didn't mean I had nothing to say, and it certainly didn't mean my grievances were invalid... particularly after they started bleeding more subs over exactly what pissed me off in the first place.
