This just isn't true.
In fact, I just went through a dungeon in Stormhaven - the name escapes me at the moment - and there were NO bots and barely any players camping the boss. I killed the boss 3x, got a blue, and got out of there.
You're being slightly dramatic, imo.
I'm fortunate to have only run into 1 bot whilst playing, like many others who probably started since early access and are now in vet zones.

So no, it like telling a girl not to walk around naked in a prison yard full of rapists.
Okay, so is it unlike suspecting that a young kid is up to no good because he is walking with a bag of skittles, an ice tea, and a hoody pulled over his head?
The point is that he shouldn't be forced to change his play style because others are botting.

So now people are being forced to alter their style of play because of the bot fumble by ZOS?
Isn't that like telling a girl "Don't dress provocatively if you don't want to be ***"?
Yes, ofc. If people ask me, I explain them what I'm doing...kylemelhuishb16_ESO wrote: »You can understand why some people may not like it?
"Lone bot" - 50% of time i hear this or something like that when i reach public dungeon boss in reaper's march.kylemelhuishb16_ESO wrote: »Personally I would try and chat and ask what you were doing. Yes, now it may be dangerous...kylemelhuishb16_ESO wrote: »I'm not going to tell you how to play the game but you may want to change your approach if people think you are a bot. Maybe just for a while while it's a sensitive subject. It will all pass over once it is dealt with.

But you are now nit picking.
I don't think ZOS is banning these bots, I think they simply port them out of the dungeon. The bots belong to paying customers and those customers pay monthly, so I don't think they are in any hurry to ban these accounts. They simply provide the illusion of being banned.
Once the bots are ported out or kicked, you will find them grinding away in a few hours in the same dungeon or in another. A ban would be too easy for ZOS, but losing money never is.
Overall, the Gold Farming companies and ZOS seem to be working together in the name of the all mighty dollar. If they do actually ban an account, I suspect it will be after it has reached a month of activity, so they collect an additional $15 bucks. This allows ZOS to come out on top like Hero's and the Gold Farming companies keep the account long enough to turn a nice profit.

ZOS does not ban anyone who is in front of his screen showing minimum signs of human behavior.
Why the hell are people making a big deal out of nothing? Forced to alter their style of play? Jeez stop the drama bro.

You are fortunate. I also started with early access, 30 minutes before early access was suppose to start in fact - since ZOS opened the servers 1 hour ahead of schedule. Now it took me forever to lock in all my names and then redo all the characters the way I wanted them to look so I didn't start playing until much later in the day, however, the first dungeon I went into on the AD faction had 4 bots camping the boss.
The bot issue started so quickly that I can only image they had beta access and were able to prepare their code / tools in advance of early access launch.

I was commenting on another poster who was claiming that him altering his play style was the solution. I agree with you completely.
I stated in another thread that I would dare guess that botting is how some of them got to VR, in the first place. The only people I've seen defend the bots are the VR players. They are the first to shoot down new threats and troll anyone who complains.

Well, given you have to beat the main questline to access VR area, which the bots can't do...We are the only ones not dealing with bots, since VR areas are (at the moment) bot free.

Okay everyone. We're saved. The VR players have given us a solution.
Simply blaze through all the beginner content, and you won't have to worry about bots anymore.

How does that stop them from using a VPN service somewhere else that makes them appear to be in a different country? I knew someone who used a VPN service in England to get England only access to the last Summer Olympics via his PC. So it's really not hard to do.
