it is supposed to be a challenging achievement mind you.. I do 115k on my magcro on live atm, but I'm willing to shave a bit off. Plus there are tons of support sets that your lower tier DPS should try putting on to help support the cannons.

To put into perspective magcro is 108k on live 98k on pts (with 100% major vuln and brittle) take away the 10kish that adds and were sitting at the highest dps being 88k, stamcro is 114k on live (melee) and on pts 94k minus the 10k from major vuln and brittle 84k... we haven't seen numbers that low since pre elsewyr with console clearing gs with less than a minute to spare what are the devs expecting once cp 2.0 comes into effect?

When you put your mouse over the post to the bottom right the reputation, quote and report buttons will appear. Just click quote and it will put the post down in the comment box at the bottom of the post.
This is how ZOS makes the game more fun, moving things out of reach for all but the top 1% who stream and post their awesomeness.. Nerfs will keep most people from getting anywhere near the results pre-nerf. Yeah yeah play more.better etc. But the truth is dps will be weaker in the next patch, hard things will become impossible for all but the hardest core elite guilds.

That achievement used to have more meaning, now it’s something that can be done in a weekend if you get a few experienced players together.
GS will still be possible (I believe for both console and PC), but will feel more like getting it in Dragonhold patch, when 80k DPS on Yolna was considered high.

I'm pretty sure if changes come as they are on pts right now, dps will be higher than currently on live, as soon as people adjust to the new meta.

Yes there has been a lot of testing done on pts already and metas have already been figured

On pc no arguments my argument is for console users and the sole reasoning is every console gs that has been achieved has just barely scraped it

The trial wasn't even out 2 years ago lol.
First Godslayer wasn't until 4? 5? months after it came out, and was on PC/NA, no clue when the first one on console was.

The trial got added in Elsweyr which is almost 2 years ago (little between 1.5 and 1.75 years to be exact.) Other than that the first GS was achieved 2/3 months after release by a group called "Hodor" on the PC/EU server (12th of July 2019).
The question is not if it can be done theoritcally or not.
If there will be a damage increase than the developers break the success story of eso. Nobody wants to play older content with increased difficulty. Experienced players ask for new content and new players want a fair chance of the same or lower difficulty of old content.
Seraphayel wrote: »I remember this kind of discussion when they nerfed Healing Springs, Orb and other sources of healing a year ago, people were doomsaying content would be impossible to clear etc. - guess what, this will work the same way: people need to adapt to the changes as good as possible (and players on that level will) and eventually it will work out.
