I used to do a salute emote to players I downed in Aion. It's one of those that looks all nice and respectful, but can also be a total burn, depending on how the fight went.

T-bag is sth very annoying, disrespecting and insulting. Personally never do it.

I'm not meaning to be disrespectful, but you do realize that maybe, it was exactly that, he did it for no reason at all? It's part of a culture. For some people it's simple etiquette to t-bag when they get a kill.
T-bagging is annoying, disrespectful and offensive if you decide it is. A hate whisper is plainly disrespectful and insulting.
You can just laugh it off, because it comes from nowhere and makes no sense, the absurdity of the situation can be fun in itself.
I hardly see how you can assume that someone who t-bagged you automatically has no life and needs to humiliate you to feel validated.
I absolutely understand that some people are genuinely uncomfortable with that, and they don't need to explain themselves for that. If you t-bag someone after they asked you to stop, it's harassment. However, I find it a ironic to say it's disrespectful and insulting, when you admit having sent a hate whisper in reply, and you also judge them pretty harshly in the same comment.
I absolutely do. I still think there is nothing to be offended about unless you are personally a victim of abuse. T-bagging is a meme at this point, it's been part of the pvp culture for an eternity and it's weird to me that people act as if they just discovered it.You know what t-bagging is exactly right? Like what the action literally is doing? Of course its meant to be disrespectful.
Its part of the game, it points out the fact your dead and they aren't. It sucks, it can be funny, it can be a compliment, it can be humiliating. Whatever it is, its part of the PVP experience and its try to bag and get bagged, its good

Someone gets it.

It's just a troll thing as I think people who feel the need to do that after they defeat you with 10v1 must be aware that they couldn't take you 1 on 1 (which they often find out when I come back to gank them).

Thing is I was wearing sets for aoe dmg to help complete the 40 player quest fast (just finished defending a keep, was wearing Seli+Venomous+Pillar and aoe skill setup, not good at all for 1v1) and that guy killed me. Well at least you know. Being a meme doesn't naturally make something ok though. T-bagging is just simply annoying imo and I don't really care. Just that it shouldn't really be seen as good or friendly unless you know each other and are teasing.

I had a similar situation recently right outside a keep, except the fight ended up extremely lopsided. And it wasn't the opposing-faction player that teabagged me. It was the player of my own faction.
And my respect for the human raced ticks down a notch again.
