I dont get it, today I crafted items for imperial charity writs (purple ones) I had but didnt take quests, when event ended all the writs disappeared from inventory. Anyone had same issue? If its intended then its weirdest thing I witnessed this year :D
P.S. I'm on PC EU

I'm not sure if that was supposed to happen... But you couldn't have handed the items in anyway as you had to deliver them to an npc in the event pavillon that most probably disappeared with the end of the event, just like the other npcs there.

Event vouchers shouldn't have disappeared, they never did before, if they did this event it would be weird. You probably confused something.

No, I haven't lost any writs and they're still in my bag/bank.

Has anyone tried to turn in an Imperial Charity Writ after the event ended? I did a round of quests shortly before the event ended, and by the time I had opened all the boxes, the event was over. The old Deep Winter writs just turn into a regular writ station, so those are fine...

But I haven't tried to do any of the Imperial ones, since I saw that the NPC disappeared when the event ended, but I wasn't sure if there might've been some other way to complete the writ (e.g., does the NPC reappear if you have the quest?). Don't really want to hang onto these writs for a whole year, but I'm also hesitant to try it because if it doesn't work, then I'll have a writ in my quest book for a whole year...

I had a feeling something dumb like that would happen. I rushed to get the 31 Imperial writs done in the last 2 hours, as that was all the time I had after I woke up. Why not just give us a place to turn them in afterwards or something. I'm also left with 3/4 Indrik feathers so I guess that's all just a waste now?

I went to look and they haven't. I still have one in my bag

We had almost 3 weeks of the event. Guess, ZOS decided that that's enough time to do everything.
As for the feathers, we have no info aside from "hold on to them". Not like we could get rid of them anyway.

Yes, they should stay in your inventory. The only thing about imperial charity writs that is different is that once you craft X item, you have to give it to special NPC that is only available during event. It is not like regular writ that you can "give" it to a chest to complete the quest.

My reasoning is that since NPC is only available during event, the quest can only be done during event.... but nothing justifies removing crafting writs from player's inventory.

I mean, you can buy an Imperial Writ for like 2k at a guild trader Code  (I think you can afford to check :joy: )

I wonder if I'm missing something. I noticed that a fair number of the charity writs ate no less that 24 heartwood. With a return of only 1 writ voucher, is there a point to doing charity writs if you already have the achievement for doing 12 of them?

I mean I'm not a big housing decorator so I'm comfortably sitting on 3-4k worth of heartwood but my understanding is that it is a pretty valued commodity for folks who are into housing.

I would say absolutely not :)

Many of the Imperial Writs did NOT require heartwood though, so those may be more worthwhile.

I did 36 Imperial Writs to get the achievement on some alts this event, most heartwood I had to use was 2.

I've seen them (heartwood) priced over 1k a piece. So yeah, if you don't need the achievement and don't need the style pages that come from turning in the writs, I'd sell the sealed writs or donate them to guild.

ETA: Priced and sold at over 1k a piece.

You also got a random page for the new Rkindaleft Dwemer Style from the Imperial writs. Although there are also plenty of them in guild stores.

Yeah, I have. When you complete the writ, the NPC reappears and you can turn it in:
