She likes it because it has an Egyptian/ Art Deco feel to it, and i like all the rooms and areas it has. Its easy to cut off the area you want to decorate. Also, i have a feeling they might expand our furnishing limits in the coming year. With the older generations of consoles being phased out, there is no reason to keep the low furnishing limits... unless they was lying to us about the reason. Maybe they will boost notables to 1000 or even 1500 items this year.
Your awfully optimistic and I hope your right. But last official word is no increase in the house part of forum.
It has been the excuse for a long time if you go above a certain limit on housing that lower end machines will crash. PS4 has had problems playing ESO for years. The base PS4 is horrible at this game. Xbox is made better and thus performs better but both were never designed to handle a game like ESO.
It has become a lot more popular to play MMOs on consoles now and the newer systems are a significant upgrade. There should be no excuse now. You are right i am being very optimistic because we know this is just an excuse, if they wanted to solve the problem the solution is not that difficult.
I actually thought they were going to solve this with the Elsweyr chapter and the hall of champions as a test bed. All they have do is divide houses into areas and you transition between areas. This would fix it for a lot of houses. Though some that are mostly open, like Grand Topal Hideaway, might be a challenge to do but a house like Stone Eagle Aerie would be perfect for this concept. Who knows maybe that is going to be the first mass test of a housing transition system that allows us to have up to 700 items per area with multiple areas in a home.
There's no way we see a change in limits anytime soon.
The old consoles will not be phased out as fast as you think. Games on the PS3 and Xbox 360 were still supported for years after the PS4 and Xbox One came out.
Unless the PS5 and XSX have completely isolated servers from the old generation, it can't happen. And considering we can use old characters in the new version of the game when it comes out, they're definitely the same servers.
Won't be Jan, we got the Showcase today and it's not in it. Can be Feburary or even March, they sometimes save their 'best' for last. Bastion Sanguinaris was released in August (after the May/June launch of Graymoor), while Stonethorn was already launching in August/September.Anotherone773 wrote: »

Microsoft will have full control of the company by then and ZOS will have access to MS assets. MS has a huge server farm going online in Iowa in 2021. 6th largest in the world when it onlines. That would be the perfect time to swap people over. It may even been included in the acquisition agreement. The old consoles would be ran from the current server farm until they were phased out probably 2 years later which would be 6 weeks after the 10 year anniversary of both Sony and MS launching that console gen.
We will find out more on the plans, i hope, in a couple of weeks.

That's certainly a lot of speculation and conjecture, @Anotherone773 ... seeing as the Microsoft deal hasn't even closed yet.

It’s far too big. I really don’t know why they keep bringing out such big houses when the community keep asking for nice medium sized ones. I was hoping for Vlindrel Hall like in Skyrim, which would of been perfect. There aren’t any medium sized dwarven style houses in the whole game.

Frostvault is a Medium sized Dwarven House.

I should of been more clear. I meant “house” house, not cavern.

You might be waiting indefinitely then.
The Dwemer didn't build houses. They had winding caverns and hallways with living quarters in them. The closest thing you might get is Stillwaters Retreat, and just block off the exit wall for the back of the Dwemer Structure you start in.

I could do the same with Stone Eagle Aerie as there are a few places that can be blocked off nicely, but I’d still be paying large house prices.
