I was really hyped for it, but after running around in it, I think ima pass. Its pretty large and I think just using even 50% of the interior space, people will run out of the 700 slots fast, that is if they even have ESO plus.

I think the ability to access the fence is really cool. I wish the water/bath room had a taller ceiling, feels kinda claustrophobic.

Overall I think its nice, but imo not worth the price I imagine they will ask for it ($120.00 to $170.00 I am guessing).

I do like the fireplace room. That area was nice.

For me, if we had 1200 slots and it had a taller ceiling in the entry room area with the water, I might take a more serious look at purchasing it, but that is a lot of if's....so.

I would like to see more decorating slots too. I like that everything is so close and handy to get at and the outside area is awesome. I'm going to have fun decorating it!

I dunna, I guess it should be. But I would not risk spending $170.00 with the potential to get scammed, or spend roughly 3.4 million in gold with the potential to get scammed. I see way to many people talking about getting scammed in zone chat and guild chat to give my any confidence that a large sale like that would go smoothly.

I have not seen an escrow service gift houses yet, outside of the fact their % rates would yield just that much more of a cost on top of something that is already 3x the price of the retail box game.

You could go to a Crown Exchange discord -- but not many crown sellers have upwards of 10k crowns so you're likely to hit a tough rate from the few who can actually fulfill the order.
I use World Crown Exchange myself and haven't had any trouble so far, knock on wood. I only use a broker there when the Seller doesn't have previous history.

That's right. Most of the house exchange rates I have seen are around 500:1, so the gold would be closer to 8.5 million.

No matter how I slice it, that is too much for my wallet.

I was hoping for this month, but in retrospect it's better both because I'm trying to save up on gold to buy it with crown exchange, and because a crown sale might happen, since there's a shortage of crown sellers atm.

Just as a counterpoint, I actually think the way the rooms are designed will make it easier to decorate than say, Lunar Hall or some other large houses that are just empty space.

Stone Eagle Aerie has rooms that seem pretty proportional imo

I like high ceilings but I don't feel claustrophobic in STA unlike some houses. It does seem really proportional.

I am looking forward to when this is available.
I've been kinda "meh" on the Dwemer aesthetic, overall (not a fan of steam-punk), so I was surprised by my reaction to this house; I really like it.

I am hoping it will be made available in December; earlier rather than later.

Very excited about this one, especially with the immediate access to the Markarth Thieves den that comes with it. Was stoked when I found the elevator to the den behind the waterfall (fireplace room). If I was waffling on whether or not I'd dish out the cash for this one, that finally settled me.

I had heard about the secret exit/entrance in the house back when it first came to the PTS, and I even found where it was located, but I didn't go through it at that time, just because I was exploring the house. So at that point, I wasn't aware of where it led.

I found it again just the other day, from the Outlaw Den side, which was a pleasant surprise.

I mean, I had already decided I wanted to get the house after my first visit to it on the PTS.
This just makes me even more excited for it to be put in the store.

I'll pass. Too large even for subscribers (which I'm not) but it's a damn labyrinth with far too much claustrophobic arches, entrances and turnarounds. I have a golden fish memory, I don't want to get lost in my own house.

Both the wife and i like this house. She likes it because it has an Egyptian/ Art Deco feel to it, and i like all the rooms and areas it has. Its easy to cut off the area you want to decorate. Also, i have a feeling they might expand our furnishing limits in the coming year. With the older generations of consoles being phased out, there is no reason to keep the low furnishing limits... unless they was lying to us about the reason. Maybe they will boost notables to 1000 or even 1500 items this year.

They usually place big houses 2 months apart. I would expect February as more likely.

It has been the excuse for a long time if you go above a certain limit on housing that lower end machines will crash. PS4 has had problems playing ESO for years. The base PS4 is horrible at this game. Xbox is made better and thus performs better but both were never designed to handle a game like ESO.

It has become a lot more popular to play MMOs on consoles now and the newer systems are a significant upgrade. There should be no excuse now. You are right i am being very optimistic because we know this is just an excuse, if they wanted to solve the problem the solution is not that difficult.

I actually thought they were going to solve this with the Elsweyr chapter and the hall of champions as a test bed. All they have do is divide houses into areas and you transition between areas. This would fix it for a lot of houses. Though some that are mostly open, like Grand Topal Hideaway, might be a challenge to do but a house like Stone Eagle Aerie would be perfect for this concept. Who knows maybe that is going to be the first mass test of a housing transition system that allows us to have up to 700 items per area with multiple areas in a home.

Saving crowns to get this asap as do like it. Keep going to visit & wander around, getting feel for it & how to furnish.

But might be I will be wasting my crowns as play on PS4 & apparently is a lower end machine that is “horrible at this game” - lord knows then how I have managed these past few years 😉!!

There's no way we see a change in limits anytime soon.

The old consoles will not be phased out as fast as you think. Games on the PS3 and Xbox 360 were still supported for years after the PS4 and Xbox One came out.

Unless the PS5 and XSX have completely isolated servers from the old generation, it can't happen. And considering we can use old characters in the new version of the game when it comes out, they're definitely the same servers.
