Now it's far too late to change anything, vampires are everywhere.

Give it time, it will balance out. Not everyone wants to be a vampire (or a werewolf), for many the novelty will wear off, and they will be seeking cures.

Got Werewolf to L10, dropped it, got Vampire to L6 so far.... fire in dungeons runs and Silver Bolt in PVP is getting annoying. Once I get Vampire to L10... not sure if I will keep it, but as its impossiable to level skills once you get to Veteran 10, I want to level them now encase I want to pick them up again later.

You have nothing to do with what others want to be , it is their game not yours.

If everyone wants to be a vampire , then they have all the right to be a vampire , you have the right to make the same call , not to tell others should not be able to become one.

At least they don't sparkle.

On the 'list' of possible future features, they talked about the 'thief' flag so you can't just loot everything from a NPC's houses anymore. They also talked about a 'KOS' flag.

If those get in game, and vampires in stage 2-4 and werewolf not in human form get those flags. Maybe we will have less stage 4 vampires running around.

the side effects should be worse too

stage 1 - 50% fire

stage 2 - 75%

Stage 3 - 100% being in the sun reduces ALL regen

stage 4 - 150% being in the sun makes you significantly weaker somehow

(i'd say being in the sun at stage 4 should make you lose health but people would cry too much because they were spoiled by skyrim)

being a vampire is SUPPOSED to be a curse. Its not supposed to be a walk in the park. Not necessarily rare just incredibly difficult to deal with.

Better yet stage 4 flagged for PVP. No I never want to do anything other then kill the stinking vampires and WW.

It just pains me that as a tank main i cant go vamp or wherewolf because of the resistance issues (i see so many vamps get one shotted in fire stuff)

as a vampire myself, in pvp i abuse the hell out of the dark stalker perk, however thats all i use. i find if i dont advertise the fact im a vampire, as in i dont mist every *** where, people generally wont think to use the abilities that im weak to. this gives me the crucial time to use stun and knockback attacks to keep them off balance as i and my summons tear into them.

edit: having the conjured ward damage shield/summon buff is also a plus in these situtations.

Please don't presume to speak for anyone but yourself .. I for one have no interest in this part of the game but I'm not at all surprised that many PVPers are looking for the ezmode kills as in spite of what they bleat they have no interest in 'fair' fights they may not win.

Probably going to get hate for this post, but I felt like I needed to add my 2 cents here. Some have been brave to do so, and I cannot do anything less:

Some people (like myself) have always found that being a vampire/werewolf complements their character. I didn't pick up vampire because I'm a Twilight fanboi. In fact, I'm really getting tired of all the references to that garbage.

My kind of vampire is Nosferatu, Dracula, or the kinds that I used to play in the Masquerade. I've played a vampire character since Morrowind. I agree, vampirism is a curse. I'm glad they made us look terrifying in the later stages instead of running with the Hollywood personification of the modern times.

What I don't agree with is people bashing others who make this choice. If you don't want the curse, good for you - that's your decision. Now let me make mine without throwing insults left and right. Adding additional punishments to the already plethora of weaknesses that this has in game? No. That just sounds like you're taking your personal values/vendettas and trying to staple them on others. This game is about balance. Vampires are very powerful right now and they have just as powerful a weakness.

If you start throwing in NPC hatred towards those who are in later stages then you should give vampires at least one skill to charm those NPC's. If you know anything about the old vampire lore, then you would know that they have the ability to sway mortals - not because of sparkles or whatever it is that passes for dogma these days, but because of their immortality and the power that comes with it.
