So, as of right now, if anyone has an overland set for light armor with Shirt or Jerkin, these 2 items should not be deconstructed, as they cannot be reconstructed later on.

Why would you need to reconstruct specifically a jerkin instead of a robe? There’s no difference between these pieces.
If it’s a cosmetic reason then the outfit system allows making a robe look like a jerkin, in any style and color.

@WrathOfInnos is right.
There's no reason to make it harder on yourself by expecting to collect jerkins and robes for purposes of the "sticker book".

Let's see: when we did way back then our traits research it always was for "Robe & Jerkin". At the very least I expected this new collection set system to give the re-construct option of "Robe or Jerkin".

Yeah, that would be fine. I just wouldn’t want to have to collect both a robe and a jerkin in order to get the transmute cost down to 25 for reconstructing set pieces.
Yes, would love the ledgerman outfits as styles.What the outfit station doesn't let us do, (that I wish it would) is let us craft any of the unarmored stuff like plain shirts and pants we can use (no armor value) as an overlay disguise, or even a style for stuff to 'appear' as, once we already had possession of it.
As it stands, we can wear an armor piece, OR a 'no-armor' shirt or pants in the position.
I'd rather wear something that looked like one of the normal clothing items like a shirt.
Some of that stuff looks pretty good in it's own right, and adds a lot more variety.

True, but for me, because I use "what the character is wearing" as another outfit, I will pay the extra crystals to transmute a Jerkin if that's appropriate for the character.

This was my thought as well. The outfit system is easy to use.

The outfit system costs gold and possibly crowns to use. It costs money to use outfits, one way or another. You also have to learn all the styles on every toon if you want the ability to make an outfit of a particular style.
