I've always found Vivec to have all that I need in a close enough area, also means I get the Morrowind soundtrack to listen to.

    Solitude
For some reason I really find myself drawn to Solitude, even though some places offer slightly more convenience. If they would just take down the doors to the clothing station and the enchanting/alchemy stations, and shorten the tunnel to the outlaw’s refuge it would be perfect 🙂

For a while now, my main spot for most of what you ask is Windhelm.
My main is a Nord, and that had more to do with Windhelm becoming habit than convenience did, like it is for the other cities most people use as a base. Grymharth's Woe being my first house was part of the reason, as well.

I haven't taken the time to really LOOK at how Markarth is set-up for most of this stuff yet, despite spending most of my time in the Reach this month, but I do plan on obtaining Stone Eagle Aerie when it's available, and if I find the layout to be at least as "useful" as Windhelm, Markarth will probably become more my stomping ground than Windhelm currently is.

It's a bit mixed right now. I have the ones who need horse training in Vivec but when horse training is completed they move to Alinor because it has an outfit station in the same room as the crafting stations which is convenient.

Though, now that I've started really working on getting a master crafter, I've spent a lot of time in Mournhold because it's easier.

I park my characters all in the same spot in my primary residence, do my writs in Alinor, do my mount training in Stormhold, and Master Writs/Pledges in Mournhold.

      I'm apparently everywhere.

Had the dye station been close by too then I would be perfect. Then just place an undaunted enclave outside and I would never leave. I mean I still won't but got to do them pledges too.

I have a dye station in the Villa for both accounts to use. Always daylight there....

Vulkhel Guard, Auridon at about 95% of my time as in eso crafting career.

Sometimes I may have to do them in a different zone if I logged out in the middle of farming or whatever, earlier than usual.

Is there a JC station in Vulkhel? I've never seen one....

It's great for some things, but not so great for doing daily crafting writs because of how spread out the crafting stations are.

On the other hand, the bank is a great location for stealing. :)

Where do you: park your characters, craft, fence, take pledges, hand in master writs, feed your horse, etc?

crafting dailys = alinor (cause fastest routes and tables are very close to each other)
      park your characters = random
      take pledges = deshaan
      hand in master writs=grathwood
      feed your horse,= random

      Vivec is beyond ugly

Alinor is way too white for me

      Wayrest/mournhold too much stone

Rimmen ... perfect, but bank is too small. I feel like I have videogame claustrophobia there.

Craglorn is fun for all wierd *** that happens there. Remember that one time vSO posion could spread out of the dungeon. Oh how about that one day we found out we could kill guild traders. Then there's usual people climbing onto wayshrine and jumping out windows

For crafting it used to be Mournhold but the cooking station is inconvenient.
Then went to Alinor but always got annoyed by the forced dismount.
      So now it's Rimmen.

      Solitude
I do my daily writs in Solitude. The loading doors do not bother me as much as others.

My "needs mount training" lowbie characters/not played are parked in either Solitude or Rimmen.

My "base of operations" though would be Stillwaters Retreat. I really love this property (just wish I had 1000 slots not 700).

I use Stormhold in Shadowfen. I can't believe you didn't even put it on the poll list since that is one of the most convenient crafting/bank/outfit station/thieves guild and guild trader towns in the game.

I used to hang out in Vivec but the outfit station being so far away from everything else is why i made the switch.

I wish we could use one of our homes instead. Sadly we can't get or deliver the daily.
And an assistant to deliver completed quests. It would save so many... so many loading screens.

100% agreed. I really like making my base of operations. Makes me feel more connected to the game. I have seen the tired excuses of "but then no one would leave their homes" as to why we can not get writ boards or repair vendors for houses, but that is just fear and paranoia. The more I feel connected to the game, the more likely I am to go out in the world and play.

A room right next to a wayshrine.
A large house can be obtained from doing quests.

My main isn't a Khajiit but I like the Khajiiti atmosphere in Elsweyr.

Alinor for the music and the amazing crafting spot. The respec shrine is also next to the wayshrine as well as the bank and I'm never really in a rush to get things done, which is why I don't go to Vivec city.

I do most of my crafting in one of my homes 3 days at a time, in advance. It doesn't really matter to me where my characters log off. As long as it's near crafting writ boards, I can be done with my writs in about 1 minute in most locations.

Even though the Grand Psijic Villa is my primary residence with several set stations, I can craft in Sleek Creek, Proudspire Manor, Snugpod and Old Mistveil Manor.

I like to keep my apprentices in Daggerfall. It's nice that they can go down to the docks and collect neglected items for the fence and not be a drag on the finances of the clan. My champions usually get parked near an equipment writ board or an undaunted enclave.
