Completely playable, maybe some minor bugs
Beside the occassional DC and a few bugs I run pretty steady at 100FPS with 100-120 latency. Delves, Cyro, Dungeons and Trials.

So from reading through the replies, it seems to me that crashing is more or just a console problem, with ps4 less effected?- Is that about the right conclusion, I get from these replies?

I'd like to see a video of a prime time faction stack fight with that FPS.

Other than Voidmother, I've been having no big issues. A bit of a drop in FPS in The Reach and Western Skyrim, but that's about it. I've only been doing some dailies, though. I'd like to try the new arena but is it safe?

I havent even bothered since the first week of Markarth. I should probably get on and see how Monday's hotfix went, but I am not optimistic.

Since the patch, I basically have done two things. I got Spirit Slayer (lag and bugs were the hardest part of that) and did a pretty massive amount of inventory cleanup. That part at least seems to work as far as I can tell. I havent done anything else in about a week.

I am sort of kicking myself. Patch day for Markarth was both my 40th Birthday and the day my eso+ expired, for which I had already stopped the renewal . I was feeling excited for the new solo arena and inventory system so I bought a year long sub as a present to myself (I usually do 6 month). One of the dumber things I have done recently if I am being honest...

I've been playing on and off for like 5 years now. I've been back for 6 weeks now and I've experienced just one crash and that's about it. Cyro is still laggy during prime time weekend hours. Oh and I guess the 'in combat while definetly not in combat' bug is more annoying now when you are using a wild hunt ring.

All in all I'm having very few issues.

Most of the things I do are broken. Mat farming is the only activity that I can perform reliably without bugs impeding my play. Animation desync is still an issue, especially in BGs, which is the only PVP I've done since Markarth since grouping is back in - yay! I'm still getting crashes and progress impeding bugs in vTrials and vDungeons, and farming for certain achievements is pretty much impossible in a few of them.

Weirdly enough, the only thing I'm not experiencing regularly is disconnects. The last time I had an issue with serial disconnects is when I was last in Cyro - about 4 weeks ago. I only got a couple, but it was as I were running between keeps. In BG's I will randomly get a disconnect, but it's only like once out of every several dozen games.

PvP - Mostly unplayable depending on the time due to lag and crashes; especially on the weekend. ZOS is totally lost when it comes to the performance and balance. PvP is the most neglected aspect of ESO.

PvE - Mostly playable after a few patches and hot fixes after each chapter and/dlc. They need to do a better job with taking PTS feedback more seriously and fixing those issues before it goes live. The balance issue is less severe than PVP.

Crownstore - Completely playable! This works fabulously! ZOS has lightning response times if something goes wrong no matter how severe it is!

Overall, their quality control is disappointing.

    Ps4 na

Been getting a lot off crashing/freezing that eventually unfreezes.

Crashes are mostly from loadscreens, couple from dialogue interaction

    Freezes are basically at random

Also an issue with traveling to player homes

Not unplayable for me at least but it is rather frustrating or inconvenient

I mostly play overland content, which seems to be fine with the exception of dolmens/harrowstorms/etc. not spawning in the enemies if I arrive after they've started. Dungeons are a huge mess - skills not firing, bar not swapping with multiple presses, block has gone back to being trash in response time.

I'm also experiencing a regular second loadscreen in Rawl'kha that happens 50% of the time when running to the writ board to pick up the dailies.

Since I only really play for endgame content these days, I voted a little more harshly. Trials are all postponed so my main enjoyment is gone. I can quest and I can farm for the Pale order ring but the blue screens on ps4 soured that experience so I'm taking a break while I wait for the fix. I think it's still fine if someone was able to tolerate the bluescreening and the lag spikes.

I was disconnected one day while moving toward the door after banking, but was able to log right back in.

Twice I was disconnected and couldn't reconnect for a few minutes, but I think it was my activity that caused it. Both times I was making a lot of potions while working on revealing all the traits, so I think the game just had to catch up with my activity.

Other than these, there is nothing stopping me from doing anything.

Can't get into bg with q bugs(+15 min q because everyone gave up on this ***) , can't get into cyrodiil in primetime because of q bugs , crashes in bg , not talking about gameplay bugs. Game is just worst than before, atleast I was able to PLAY before even if there was bugs. One of my mate came back to the game few days ago and crashed in 3 bgs in a row so he uninstalled the game yet again.

Well.. it is playable (somewhat.) Just been crashing and game freezes so many times. Matter of fact, I can't recall having this much game crashes and freezes than with this Markarth release. Sure, there have always been random and intermittent game crashes and freezes and plague of issues following every DLC and Chapter releases. Remember those long crazy forever loading screen? Yeah, this has been crazy since Markarth released for PS4 (and I'm just speaking for PS4.) I have never had any of my toons die so much from crashes when engaging adds (getting killed by an add; an add, I say.) Ha ha. It just seems to be crashing and freezing from anything.

Yes, ZOS knows it and everyone knows it. What can you do? You just relog back in and pop the soul gem and repeat and repeat. As I write, my toon has been stuck inside the public dungeon in Greenshade going on 40 minutes now from crashing, then repeated consecutive crashing while loading or just moving a step when I am back in. That's after I pop a soul gem because every time I am back in, my toon is laying dead from adds. This just have been happening in every dailies, every dungeons, every world boss fights and many of add(s) engagements while frolicking about. ... and finally, after 50 minutes, I am able to complete Rulanyil's Fall and the Mage daily and get the heck outta there. Ha ha (sigh..)

Yeah, this is bad. My game must have crashed and froze up well close to a 100 times so far since Markarth release for PS4. I'm no joking; no fake news here. I can't recall ever having to use so many soul gems before, and that's including VMA. ha ha. You would think, though, with the talents at Bethesda and ZOS and the many years ESO has been running, it's supposed to get better and not worst. Hmmm

Been on overland mostly because new dlc and event. Overland is mostly playable. Dungeons are roulette on whether you get a dungeon that's bugged or not. Trials, I have only done a few and only crashed twice once in Asylum and another in Maw.

Most of the glaring problems this patch is group related. If you stay solo or overland you probably won't notice much at least in my opinion.

No Crashing since I deleted Shader Cache.cooked and Pipline.Cache.esopc

I forgot to do this and normally force the game to rebuild these files after each major update otherwise it's bloody awful.

However the stuttering, freezing and low fps over he last 48 hours have reduced me to writ crafting mostly.

It's completely to mostly playable as long as I don't try to do any fancy advanced stuff like bar swap, block, interrupt, break free, roll dodge or trigger abilites in combat.

    I prefer to play PvP.

I don't see much performance issues in PvE, but pvp is a disaster. Most the time I have 2 choices, log off or go play PvE.

    Most times I log off.

It really doesn’t make much sense that the slide down the functionality toilet accelerates around the time of the Microsoft buyout announcement. It’s almost as if MS told them to spend as little as possible on the game because they would redo the game the MS way on deal completion.

    I'm probably not a good example, since I don't play a lot of so-called end-game content, but so far I haven't experienced any outright crashes*1 or game-breaking lag*2.

*1 The only times that the game has actually crashed recently were two occasions with identical circumstances, and my best guess is that it was more the fault of my computer than of ESO per se. My computer keyboard has some little buttons that let you adjust the sound-- mute speaker, decrease speaker volume, and increase speaker volume-- and from time to time I'll use those to adjust the volume while I'm playing, with no issues. But twice now I've hit one of those buttons to turn the volume up or down almost immediately after launching ESO, and ESO has crashed with the "encountered an unexpected error" message or whatever the wording is. Since ESO never even finished starting up, I've simply closed the message and launched it again, with no problems.

*2 During the last week I've occasionally experienced lag so bad that it resulted in rubberbanding, but I wasn't engaged in any sort of fights or other critical actions, just running to the stablemaster for riding lessons and then back to the crafting area in Vivec City. It might have been my internet connection, because I often have my iPad beside me as I play ESO, to surf the web or watch Twitch, and my iPad was affected at the same time (I have no cellular plan on it, just Wi-Fi).
I've fought mudcrabs more fearsome than me!
