Is the forum password connected to the password to enter the game?

I ask this because a different account is being asked to change the password. They don't want to change the game password as it works just fine.

✭Not even your username is tied to the forums, they can be different, though I imagine behind the scenes they can still tell which eso account the forum account came from0 -
