He never said you -____- he meant as in players, you got suspiciously defensive lol jk, but ya, that is what he means :P your thread however WON'T stop bots, they will ALWAYS find a way to come back... and did you know so many of them use stolen credit cards anyhow to buy the game.Blackwidow wrote: »

LOL... Actually if NOBODY bought gold, then gold sellers wouldn't have a business in the first place.Blackwidow wrote: »He never said you -____- he meant as in players, you got suspiciously defensive lol.Blackwidow wrote: »
No, it was just a silly thing for him to say. People will always buy gold from gold sellers, so what he suggested was no solution at all.

If you actually visit one of those sites you will see it's not just ESO online gold that is being sold, they literally sell gold for majority of MMO's because most have bot problems. Sad, but true. Blame the countries that pay their workers like €/£1 a day or something.

Of course it was a silly thing to say, it was also the only guaranteed solution.
No game has ever gotten rid of gold sellers unless the company sells gold themselves cheap enough not to make it profitable for these people to do so.
Yeah cause there wasn't a market for it anymore. DDO was a complete failure and it stopped being profitable to get past their methods. As long as there is enough people playing ESO they will find a workaround.
How to get rid of gold sellers 0.0 ..
Put a GM in the game and have them ban them.
I know.. so complicated.. how would they ever accomplish it?

On the other hand, there will be many non MMO players who aren't used to gold sellers, who might be tempted, as well as many MMO players who use them as a shortcut.

A few nights ago I saw someone comment on /zone "Hey, did you know you can buy gold for real money!" It was obvious this was either a very new gamer or perhaps a very young player as they didn't seem to realise buying gold was not a good idea.
