Gankers are always nerfed

He why nerf gankers in each patch?

At first: the nerf grimfocus - 8%
- Balorgh for 50% but they give a vampskill to help (is ok? maybe) -50%
- then they nerf mundusstone down -2%
- they make Titanborn Strength useless -15% ( Strength of the Automaton)
- now the hard NB nerf Master Assassin at first from a percentage (%) to 258 and now no Damage -> is now penetration, this is not correctly :(
- and the nerf of Minor Berserk to 5% -3%

Please buff Balorgh, this set should put 150% of ultikosts to damage 500 ulti= 725 damage. This would be better in PVP all in all because if you use a cheap ulti this set is useless then it is better to have 1 item from Balorgh and 1 other damage set.
Ore buff Automaton (Strength of the Automaton) because War Maiden the counterpart in magicka has also been improved

    You want to know why?

    simple
    gankers are an annoying playstyle with no means to counter it if it is played right

    in other words they are no fun to fight against and to avoid getting ganked most people roll tankier and tankier..which is another can of worms in of itself.

    so there's two ways they can approach this problem of gankers being a blight

    1: remove stealth/invis/cloak from pvp which would literally make it impossible to gank..but would also cause massive uproar and several other issues


    2:nerf gank enabling sets..

    as you can see..they went with the latter

    I think it's a shame to take an entire style of play out of the game, that reduces diversity, especially since I hardly play Teso any more except for ganken. Well, there is a solo arena, which ensures some playing time for the first time, but after that it will be a bit boring. Unfortunately, BG PVP is no longer the real thing either. :'(

    At first there were nice short fights but they got longer and monotonous, I think the game needs a fast PVP style, otherwise only long-winded builds remain which would be a shame. The normal fights last far too long for me at the moment, which is not very enjoyable.

    I have been nerfed repeatedly for years and every time I come up with some new way to gank. You also forgot the change to Clever Alchemist that meant you couldn't pre buff it.

    I have 300 ping, I am never going to be fighting fair, its gank or die for me.

    I gave up on Snipe Gank and moved to 2h Ganking with Sword Singer since it got buffed last patch even though I lost the NB Passive... Now it is getting removed completely. (Onslaught needs no penetration!) That also meant I lost the Ambush vulnerability since I swapped to Crit Rush.

    Can you just let us try to 2 shot people it doesn't even work more than half the time and then you just have to cloak and run away.

    And yes. Delete gankers. Annoying cowards hiding in stealth only attacking players that already fight others.

    Thank you. If it really comes down to it, let's go ganker sit down. Always 3 grab a level 10 and 12 a camp. 810 and 20 an emperor ...

    I would feel sorry for you. But considering the amount of times I have been ganked while fishing achievement hunting, skyshard hunting, or turning in a quest in cyrodill... I dont feel bad for you. If it were a more stand up with warning fight I were I could at least pretend I am able to fight back it would be different. But ganking solo questers and group stragglers isn't something that should be encouraged. And being on the receiving end of it is not going to get new people into campaigns to fight. But what it will do is make everyone stat into tank builds. Which let's face it, also needs a nerf in pvp.

    There is nothing for 2H gankers and that was the new challenges with more risk because they were in close combat

    You can still gank, it'll still be just as easy as mashing the snipe button on someone who is already fighting, while 40m away in sneak. They aren't fixing the snipe desync bug, which is the only way 99% of "gankers" can get kills, so you'll be fine. I gank on a mag templar, I'll be just as effective next patch. If you're really claiming the sky is faling while playing an easymode stamblade, i don't know what to tell you.

    Pretty sure we just spent a month whinging about how venomous smite was OP and gankers kept killing people with it? lol

    Ganking will always be an option, but I think it's definitely a good idea to dis-incentivise it - PVP is way more fun when it's a fair fight. Fair fight meaning 'your opponent actually knows you're there' in this case.

    APART FROM DSYNC FROM SNİPE ,(for this reason i swapped to magblade long time ago), ganking , building for gank , timing positioning etc is an art.. and huge fun. İn a gank rotation you ve 3 seconds to kill an opponent and your opponent has 3 seconds to react. Sorry for you if youre slow to react ; but as i am accepting the fact that you play 30 k+ hp (nowadays its 40 k hp werewolfs) 30k+ resist 3k+ crit resist
    But still dealing tons of damage builds. And respect to it; others should respect to gankers as well ( aside from snipe cos of desync)
    And for this patch i see nothing to worry about ganking. İt will still be fun and easy if mastered right.

    I dont see anything Bad about nerfing Gankers.
    Its good If people actually start fighting instead of hiding i stealth and Shooting ppl off their mount or ppl who are already in Combat...

    Lol, in Markath, ganking will be amazing, especially with that empower buff.... Ganking isn't getting nerfed, it's getting buffed.

    I had great fun on melee magblade ganker during the ic event.
    Melee ganking is still very much possible, even on Stam.
    I'm assuming when you say balorgh nerf, you mean it affected onslaught ganking, I mean just use incap or soul harvest with balorgh.

    On a serious note, with upcoming sets ganking will still have its place.

    every single ganking builds that existed in this game got nuked. At this point it should be obvious for anyone trying to play a ganker that your build -if it's effective-, will be always get nuked on the next patch. ZoS doesn't want gankers, but there is always going to be a way to gank ppl.

    I dont really mind ganking, it takes far more practice, positioning and luck than just running a macalth proc mDK for example, but i get why ZoS doesn't want ganking in the game. Is kinda destroys the learning curve of PvP for new players if they get nuked in 1 GCD from sthealth, they dont have the knowdelege to avoid it/survive it, and dying in 1second doesn't give them to learn about it.

    That being said, ganking is going to be a big thing next patch with the empower buff. So enjoy it while it lasts

    Ganking and bombing are so incredibly mind numbingly easy, try play with 3 damage sets on any other build and see how you go. Invis should be limited purely to potions.

    Quite honestly In no-cp a 3 sec gank is pretty bad, a good gank is around .9-1.2 secs. Obviously this depends on tankiness/ awareness of ganker.

    Ganking aside from snipe maynot be that easy. (Everybody thinks about snipe when gank word used)
    Actually if it was that easy everybody on servers will be gankers. Many guildies tried playing one and in less then week they returned to their tanky characters and zergling or ball groups.
    İn your point imo buffing snipe maynot be the best move before fixing desync. Youre right. But in melee range (acc to my previous snipe history) casting snipe is not that easy ; it can be easily interrupted and its a certain death with a gank build.but with a desync problem probably we ll see too many voices in forums and they ll be right to complain about it.

    Yep, it's easy. Stealth causes desync and cc delay.

    Which sets do you use on the bow ganker so the new master bow + 33% Snipe and then automat or? What else?

    Since they changed the master assassin to flank. I've hardly noticed a difference and I dont even try and fo for the flank. And penetration is not a bad stat either. That point blank snipe of me hard af tho

    It would help if nightblades as a class were given something more than just assassination type abilities.

    No group support, no proper healing in pvp, no reliable aoe damage, barely any buffs/debuffs etc...
