Can't get my launcher to go past the initial 'Loading'

So I've been playing ESO since release now without any hitches and ever since the recent maintenance/patch I've been unable to get my launcher to get past the initial loading and therefore I can't update the game.
I've tried to google the solution and tried the following:
1) Running the launcher as Administrator and tried compatibility mode.
2) Unclicked the 3 options in Lan Settings under Internet Options.
3) Uninstall and re-install Adobe Flash Player.
4) Re-install the ESO launcher.
5) Turned off my firewall.
6) Gave access through my firewall.
In between all those I also rebooted my PC to make sure and I'm still stuck on the 'loading' part of the launcher. My OS is Windows 7 64-bit if that matters.
Hope someone is able to help so I can start playing again. I also tried to get on the ESO support page but it just gave me an error when I tried. I've also attached of how my launcher looks like just to give a clear idea - this is where I'm stuck.

Just updated, still not working.0 -
Klat✭Just found a workaround. I tethered my phone instead of using my regular wifi and used the launcher while connected to my phone's 3G connection. It successfully moved past the eternal loading stage and I was able to pause the download/patch and resume download on my regular wifi.
However I still can't get past the whole 'loading' issue using my regular wifi still. ZOS it would be great if there's a proper fix or suggestion for this. It just seems odd that my regular net is causing issues immediately after the patch where it worked perfectly before.Edited by Klat on April 19, 2014 6:41PM0 -

did a bit of googling and found a solution at tamrielfoundry:
"Here’s what I did to fix it:
1st. go and make sure the proxy settings are set correctly on the application level:
go to control panel>internet options>connections tab>LAN settings
Make sure everything is unchecked. (support may have already had you do this, if you already know that all 3 boxes are unchecked you can skip)
next, reset your system level proxy:
on the start menu, in the search field, type cmd.
-If you are using windows 8, press the windows key + x, then select Command Prompt (admin)
You will see command prompt pop up, right click it and say “run as administrator”
in command prompt, type “netsh winhttp reset proxy”
you should see:
Current WinHTTP proxy settings:
Direct access (no proxy server).
exit command prompt and try running the launcher again."

Sidney✭✭✭✭It's a bit of a long shot, but you could try installing and running CCleaner. Run both sets up clean up (don't check off anything additional unless you know what you're doing) and restart.
Others have posted the same/similar issues so it may end up being a backbone issue somewhere along the lines.
Sadly I don't know what IPs to trace route to so if someone else has that information that could be helpful too.>.<_____/

Um i had this issue after the most resent patch, all i had to do was restart it pause it and run the repair tool. Hope this help, but you might have already tried it lol.0 -

The problem is trying to get the launcher to actually load up to the part where I can click pause/play/repair etc. It's just stuck on the 'Loading' part as seen in my screenshot on my original post.0 -

Joviex✭✭I now have this issue as well. If you "close" the window via right-click it sometimes goes to the next screen, but then nothing updates in either case.
Totally bonkers considering I have not changed anything and have played the game perfectly fine up till this morning.
It is obviously not a "patch" as I can't actually download the patch, it is simply stuck on loading the launcher.0 -

Yup that's the same case for me. I can right click and close the window and the next screen comes up but nothing happens. The 'play' button doesn't even appear.
The only way I can get past this is if I tether my phone and it will let me go past the loading stage. I was able to update today's patch by using my phone to bypass the launcher 'loading' stage and pausing it, then using my wifi to download the updates then it gets stuck before it applies the patch and I have to switch to my phone again to complete the patch application.
It's really bizarre because I never changed any settings prior to this just like you.0 -
