Tri-Pots are perfectly adequate for a lot of content. Especially if you tank, as well as being quite handy in PvP. I use them all the time and have zero problems. And no, I don't play an Argonian.

My opinion is that they are essentially giving you a specific item similar to the one you might have gotten from a crate instead of the crate itself. You miss out on the spectacle of opening the crate and the disappointment when it's not what you wanted and you don't get the gems. You instead get a specific item which is exactly the same for every person.
I turned crate stuff in for gems, eventually getting an apex mount I really like.
I remember. I've been playing the game since beta.
Daily login was supposed to be designed to keep people coming back. But now it's to keep giving people useless junk
And all that stuff throwing at new players. It's actually quite helpfull.

Actually...Again, you can just make crafted tri-pots with better effects. Zos don't need to give us hundreds of them.CMDR_Un1k0rn wrote: »Tri-Pots are perfectly adequate for a lot of content. the whole point with dailies is to help the new player and it help you
I find the health potions and meals useful, but on the other hand they rather trivialise provisioning. I find the cash useful as I'm a non-trader so don't have a bank overflowing with gold. I also find the APs useful as I'm not a PvPer but they give me the odd skill point that I can use for PvE etc.
If there was an option to disable the rewards I'd probably do so simply to avoid the nuisance of claiming them each day on 4 sets of characters (2 accounts, 2 servers). I know I don't have to access them each day, but it is necessary if I want the occasional item later in the month, although I wouldn't miss such items and have no interest in the other stuff like xp scrolls which I never use anyway. On balance I'd just drop the whole thing if there was an option to do so.

There’s an add on that blocks those messages for you.

My answer will always be to ban crates. However, I understand that the day they are banned is probably far in the future, and I don't expect ZOS to have any moral back bone to make an ethical decision to dial back on crates...
So... the very least they could do, since we now have GEM EXCLUSIVE ITEMS NOT OBTAINABLE FROM ANY CRATES, is to regularly distribute crates every month, for free, as rewards for in-game activities and/or as daily login-in rewards.
Most games that use the scummy practice of crates always offer a free way to obtain the currency required to purchase them, or a free way to get the crates themselves.... regularly...
But no. We're expected to be excited about bland rewards, and forced to gamble to get the latest content.

the whole point with dailies is to help the new player and it help you lvl alt also for honest reward is really good when you lvl up alt or for the new player which helps them level up faster .
Sure it was nice to get crate but honest I don't care so much for crate for if want "play" crate game then I can buy for my own money.
