DLC monster helmets... finally... too bad we had them 3 or 5 time already at gold vendor... and it is like 3+ year old content at this point...

Anyway, thanks for posting this OP.

Giving Plague Slinger a mega nerf on Monday would be some top tier trolling.

Balorgh's is cool! I'm disappointed that my fears were confirmed and console is just going to miss out on Slimecraw shoulders, though.

Is Balorgh's more useful for PvE or does it have uses in PvP as well? For a werewolf build specifically.

Same. Really wanted those shoulders. Just building all my monster sets now to see what’s what and how they fit my different toons. I’ve got a solo Stamwarden, solo magplar and a trial DPS MagDK. I’m going for a stamnecro next and also aiming for trail specs. It will be nice to have the monster sets in advance just to throw on and experiment.

Maybe it will come around again. If not I guess I’ll farm keys all day long.

Balrogh's can be a great set in PvP. However I wouldn't put it on a werewolf, because you get the boost for a timed duration after hitting the alt. With werewolf builds done well you should spend most of your time in ult form so you would get the Balrogh proc very rarely.

So what's the deal with vykosa, is it a pvp thing, how do the reductions affect pve bosses?

EDIT: So i googled it and there are no recent conversations about it, eso-sets detailed information hasn't been updated still talks like the set still has major maim. https://eso-sets.com/set/vykosa

Balorgh is awesome for PvP. Not sure about WW since I don't play that one very much, but it gives you a really good burst damage, and you can easily control when you do so.

Balorgh gives bonus only for 12 seconds. So unless you are using WW only for a short burst then it will be fine. But WW "timer" is usually much longer than 12 seconds.

Balorgh (when used on max ultimate points) gives 500 weapon / spell damage & 11 500 physical / magical penetration. Only for 12 seconds, so for WW there are better options. If something - Balorgh is awesome for bomber builds.

Wonder how it affects bosses as well, looks convenient for tanking.

    Thanks again @BenevolentBowd !

The set doesnt have major maim anymore, only 20% weapon dmg reduction for 5 secs (as unnamed debuff).

It's total trash set for tanking and has no use in 90% of PVE content. It's only being used in very specific situations like in vSS, to lower the dmg from boss. But in most PVE content it's trash.

    Mad Tinkerer:
Increased the damage of this set to 10390, up from 9999.
Removed the proc chance from this set. Whenever you deal damage, a verminous fabricant will be summoned that will charge the nearest enemy, doing 10,206 damage.
Reduced the cooldown to 8 seconds, down from 10.

This will be good for controlled burst/cleave situations, as long as you get your timing right. I would probably look to magDKs for this, since they can capitalize on the close proximity target in conjunction with their skills.

Pretty much where I'd see the set performing best next patch. Though magdens might have better sets that will synergize with passives better.

Might be fun with short term transformation ultimates like necro's Bone Goliath and vampire.
