Errr, really don't get what the fuss is about. I think I use radiating regen on my sorc, occasionally engulfing flames on my dk, can't even think of anything thats AOE on the NB. The templar admittedly does use AOEs and seems unfairly hit by this. But she'll just use crushing shock instead of jabs. Warden's still a baby so don't know.
Personally, I think anything that cuts back on ball groups is to be welcomed.
Lotus Fan (gap closer) for example. Imho pretty essential skill... 3 second cooldown on that means that it will be kinda useless. AOE is only a secondary effect, but the primary function is a gap closer. I hope they will simply add 3 second cooldown on the AOE portion of skills, not the ENTIRE skills....can't even think of anything thats AOE on the NB.

Can't wait for the day they implement a huge pve gameplay change just so I can reciprocate garbage responses like this. I play both pve and pvp and don't want to have to deal with my class changing because i changed zones.

Hello, Devs.
Going through with the proposed AoE changes is the worst possible choice to make. It's is bad. Bad. Extremely bad.
Thank you for your time.

" Shared global AOE cooldown - 3 second timer. This test adds a global 3 second shared cooldown to any AOE ability. This means that when you cast an AOE, you will not be able to cast another for 3 seconds. For example, as a Templar, if I cast Ritual of Retribution, I wouldn’t be able to cast Puncturing Sweep for 3 seconds."
That depends on what is the definition of an "AoE ability" for the purpose of those changes. As usual, non of the nerfs are gonna afect sorcers, making them even more OP.

you have yo completely respec your gear and champion points every time you go into cyrodiil, division between pve and pvp is great imo.
everyone: lag and performance make cyrodiil unplayable!
ZOS: we're going to test a few things out and see if we can make it better.
This post: no.
Just let them try and fix it. Let them run tests and see what's going on.

What's the problem? they are looking for solutions to the lag issues in Cyrodiil. let them run their tests and propose fixes. You're spazzed out because they are looking into the problem? Do you prefer the lag in cyro? Instead of posting a "hair on fire" thread, why don't you come up with some better ideas? Maybe people SHOULDN'T just spam AoEs in pvp. Maybe they should, I don't know, actually fight one another.

No one prefers lag in cyro. They just recognize this is a game altering change if it goes through. Instead of shelling out the crown cash for more resources, they change the game people have been used to playing for years. Claiming people who KNOW how to play(pvp) just spam aoes is hilarious. You clearly don't pvp either. You arent paying attention to the notes. TONS of skills have aoe components. Things like smartheals, buffs, debuffs, spam skills, ults, movement based skills.
so this will only happen in pvp? or do us pve-ers have to suffer cuz zos can't get it's crap together for cyro?

Zos have never implemented a diferent cost of anything, or even a cd diferent for a PVE than PVP. But i only see that the only problem for PVers can be the increase of cost. A decent players will never apply two times in a row wall of elements. That would be a waste of resources so the CD is not gonna be a problem at all.

The more players you hit, the higher you hit them all for.
Let us 1-shot ball groups, completely disrupt it as a form of gameplay, and fix the server issues ourselves.
