I would have done my Summerset stuff first instead of saving it for after other dailies if I'd known. ✭✭✭✭✭Yikes! I always have the main forum page up and there is always a maintenance banner up - showing when maintenance will be. Out of curiousity I clicked the little 'X' in the corner of the banner and it disappeared. Now I can't get it to come back up! Anyone know how to do that? Signing out of the forums 'fixes' it but signing in remembers my mistake and keeps the maintenance banner hidden.
Edit: Fixed! Logging out and back in didn't fix it but logging out, waiting for the next update (Extended Maintenance) then logging back in fixed it. My lesson: If I don't know how it works, don't click on it! LOL.Edited by AcadianPaladin on July 27, 2020 1:20PMPC NA(no Steam), PvE, mostly solo1 -

Maybe it will come back on its own when its text is updated? Or you could try logging out of the forum, then logging back in.I've fought mudcrabs more fearsome than me!0 -

They're looking into the fact that announcements no longer appear on individual forum pages, but all it needs is to bookmark the main page instead of the General Discussion page which is then only a single click away and there's no need to miss any announcements.1 -

It really wasn't for me. I know the banner is usually on the main forum homepage, I do know where to look for it, and indeed, that's where it is now, but I assure you it wasn't there until I made the post you've quoted. There also wasn't a forum post on the maintenance page.
It doesn't bother me particularly, I just wanted to know what was going on.1 -
