When I started up this morning, the game began a new download. Is this the new patch?

    Update 25 had a bunch of major rework which required that the entire game be downloaded again. If you have not played since late February or early March then this would be a new patch for you.

    Are you sure you didn't activate the PTS and download that by mistake? Assuming, of course, that you're on PC - always helpful with such a query to specify the platform.

    I often times think the forums would benefit by the various platforms having their own separate sections.

    They do, for all technical issues. It's just that everyone insists on posting everything here instead of where the ZOS technical staff follow things and reply.
