Why would anyone still be a vampire after this Blood for Blood change?
After casting this ability, you cannot be healed by allies for 5 seconds.
Who knows. I was hoping for some tweaks to Vampiric Drain at the very least but it still remains in it's lack luster state. All the changes are just nerfs whether directly or indirectly in the case of the telegraphed AoE on Swarming Scion ((which was needed not going to lie about that)).
The fact Blood for Blood stops allies from healing you is.... Interesting. We'll have to see how that goes.

I know right?!? The only ability that made vampires worth it in high difficulty content where sustain is key and they just nerfed it into the ground. Both in damage and group synergy with the healer.

You're supposed to switch from BfB to Drain when health gets low. Also preferrably be a necromancer.
It's this silly picture the devs have in mind of juggling your health pool. Apparently, that "ticks all of the boxes".

Issue with drain is as a magDK I have access to Burning Embers which is cheaper, does more damage, heals for more, and isn't a channel. I've tried my best to use Vampiric Drain but it's just overshadowed by Burning Embers in every single way.
I'm talking the addition of a bat swarm gap closer and edits to Blood Frenzy/eviscerate.
Very surprised they nerfed eviscerate so much yet didn't make changes to it. We really need a long ranged morph OR the added addition of a gap closer if they really plan on keeping vamp's main damage a melee ability.
Idk, kind of disappointed they didn't address the countless threads I've seen made about vampire tbh.
Also: VERY surprised they didn't address the uselessness of perfect scion? Figured they'd be keeping stats on how many people is taking what.

Yes. Because vampirism does not work. Not as a skill line, a mechanic, a concept, not even as lore. ZOS completely dropped the ball, "Rise of Skywalker"-like.
campiric drain is very good(in pvp) cause u get very much heal per second combinder with a few hots u litterly cant die cause its % based heal and the free 4ult per second are realy great to ... and if u say now that skill is uselss for pve .. true but not every skill is designed for pve AND pvp

I for one am very glad being a vamp is no longer required for everything as is was prior to the rework.
I like my characters as they are, not pale, and sickly looking with blood shot eyes.
Was told over and over, you have to be a vamp for everything (dps, healer, tank, didnt matter) for sustian, blah, blah, blah
They probably didnt do any of your suggestions because they are happy with how vamp is and/or your changes would make them OP/need to be a vamp for everything again.

All they saw so far according to these notes is that Blood for Blood was overperforming, they did not seem to care about Vampiric Drain being dead on arrival, or frenzy only being used for stealth bombers..
I have plenty doubts on if we'll get patch notes with good Vamp changes, for now its just a matter of sitting and waiting
The craziest thing there would be the removal of blood frenzy, but quite frankly I absolutely hate that skill and I think it needs to be gone completely. People that like this skill confuse me and strike me as the 'haha more dmg' types. The skill isn't creative at all and needs to be G O N E.

Or at least a complete redesign on it entirely. Like take a page out of Equilibrium from the Mage's Guild skill line which at base does the following:
"Barter with Oblivion to trade vitality for power, sacrificing 6000 Health in exchange for 3000 Magicka.
The exchange reduces your healing done and damage shield strength by 50% for 4 seconds."
Maybe have it sacrifice some health to improve your weapon and spell damage for X seconds, but then reduces the healing received and damage shield strength on you by 50% for the same X number of seconds. I know Blood Frenzy's current form is unique but the way ZOS implemented is has made it incredibly difficult to use. Its original implementation was actually usable and I know this because I line...a s tested it out on the PTS. I could comfortably use it in PVP and PVE, but then ZOS threw on that 20% increased cost per second on both morphs. Now I can only use it for Overland PVE as the healing nerf in PVP and the low HP pool I have makes it difficult to use it anywhere else.
