They're not working for a mere game, they're working for a salary. if lets say i would get a 25% salary bonus because i would work from 1am to 6 am i would be all over that.1 -

They've compensated for some things in the past, but now they don't even consider giving out a recoloured pet or a proper apology.

It's not. You'd be surprised just how starkly similar Elite Dangerous has these types of issues. The difference is that game doesn't even bother fixing them.

Speak for yourself, no downtime deploys should be standard for games (especially for alleged AAA game companies). Other games manage it, like Guild Wars 2 for example, which is two years older than this game. It is laughable that some games still have weekly maintenance downtime in 2020, no wonder the gaming industry has the reputation it does.

You would?To each their own I guess. I do server maintenance, and over the course of the last few years I *really* came to hate night shifts/extra shifts/on-call duty. Never in 6 years have I had problems with ED servers. Yes, they have long maintenance, but they never promice do it in 2 hours. Anyway after maintatnence complite they don't close servers again to fix something that was broken during the maintenance.0 -

yes it makes sense, nightshift do make sense when compulsory (enery, health , police etc ...) but for a game one may wonder ;-)0 -
