Bound Armor and Daedric Protection Passive

Daedric Protection passive lists 10/20% HP Regen when any summoning ability is slotted.

So my question is, does this work with bound armor? It technically is a summoning ability, however I don't notice a difference on character sheet. Then again, you don't see alot of buff changes on character sheet, like mundus stone etc.

Good question. I would assume it would work.

You should see Daedric Protection on your sheet, your health regen will go up. If you're not seeing a difference, then it doesn't work with bound armor. It does work with atronach though, which is a great ultimate.

I wasted a point to check.

Its not under the buffs with character sheet.

Nor does it list anything with Bound Armor OR Twilight Matriach on summoning bar, or even in use.

Before and after HP Recovery has been overcharged at 64
Its either in the background or Bugged, but I'd sure love to know if its working with bound armor or not. x.x

My assumption is that it does not, when I equip summon atronach, my health regen literally goes up on my character sheet. I use bound armor as well, but I also use atronach. When I get home tomorrow I can check if bound armor gives me regen without atronach equipped.

I can't really tell, I have HP regen coming from so many sources. lol. I'd have expected to see a change on HP Recovery on the character sheet showing it was functioning. With twilight on hotbar and not on. With twilight on hotbar and turned on. Bound armor on. Bound armor off. No summoning skills on hotbar. No changes.

Like said just trying to figure out if it doesn't calculate or not on character sheet, like the mundus stone buffs. Got Thief for critical hit %, but that doesn't show either.

Also, thinks for also experimenting with it too.

Ah, for me daedric protection modifies the actual health regen # on my character sheet. There's no specialized icon like a mundus stone. If the health regen # isn't changing, you're not getting the effect.

There seems to be a delay in the change to health regen when slotting summons.

I can confirm that bound armor does count as a summon for daedric protection. Even slotting Velocious Curse works it seems; so I would guess any skill from Daedric Summoning counts (I don't have conjured ward unlocked yet unfortunately). Magelight doesn't count as a summon though.

Anyone who wants to test it I recommend having a piece of armor (or the heavy armor passive) that effects health regen. Re-equiping a piece of health regen armor seems to get the character sheet to update properly.

This passive is completely non-functional at the moment. No ability actually makes it do what it is supposed to do.

But, as we all know, there are no bugs in ESO.

Storm atronach works for me. I can see the passive take effect. So yes, it does work.

As I had just explained, there does seem to be a delay in the health regen boost showing on your character sheet, but it does indeed work as the tooltip states.

It works with bound armor, since i checked and im not overcharged.

It's still a garbage passive since health recovery is not that great either, so a 20% boost of crap is still crap.

It's not that great, the recovery is so slow on most builds that you're better off with other options if you don't want to commit 2 skill bar slots for a health regen passive.

I still take it for the same reason I put point in the wood elf racials. Because you have more points than you'll ever need.

You only have to commit one skill slot, which is usually atronach if you're using it.

I just confirmed it works. Put ultimate on one bar... and no summoning on the other... health regen went up significantly for the bar with the summoning skill.
