As of 3.31.2020 the person authoring it is still developing it and selling it.
It isn't even that hard to find, you had the trail of clues infront of you.

As players we're not in a position where we can fully audit and investigate claims against other players. This means, it's much harder to distinguish a real accusation from a falsified one. This is why there's "no witchhunting" rules, like "no naming & shaming." Beyond that, we have no power to act on that information (if it's valid.) About the extent we can engage in is social shunning. Which goes back to, unscrupulous individuals using stuff like this as an offensive tool to target individuals for retribution.

In situations like this, the best solution is to pass the video evidence you have to customer support or moderation. They can investigate and deal with it.

The example I mentioned was an incident a few years ago, where someone edited chat logs in a video to try to paint a PvPer as making threats against other players. Then they pushed it out there as part of a concerted smear campaign. The goal was to ostracize them from the community. It's a perfect example of why these rules exist. Someone tried to start a witchhunt, and was caught.

So, yeah, I didn't mean to imply you were acting with unclean hands, just, "that's why the rules are in place."

OH thank you for clarify this 😊. I'm pretty new to the forum, (in reality I finally subscribed to give feedback on pts) so I didn't knew that episode, this is a shame. People definitely have too time on their hands sometimes. I agree with you: rules are here for a reason and now I know why they are very strict. I'm really not interested on the action they will take regards the player, I'm more interested in a fix.

Ok. I play tgis game since launch. I saw lot of different type of cheaters in game, and honestly i hate em to my guts. Here is what happened today, i myself sent a ticket to zos. Im a PC EU DC pvp player. We went down bloodmayne, and having faregyl already taken, we went for scroll. 2 of us made it to temple, tryin to pick it up, rest of the group was too slow. The 2 of us died badly... i rezzed at BM, so can run back to support scroll runner. When I res, I see I have the scroll on my back in Bloodmayne. So I ask my grp is this right? They say run it uo to the north, and thats what I do... can't place scroll though... so i needed to sacrifice myself, and someone else placed it in warden. Others saying there is an EP guy doing this every night in PC EU. I said tgis is not right, not fair, but I took the shot once... 10 minutes later, we nick a red scroll, however we get overwhelmed by EP just around Winters Peak. This time I clearly said leader, I wont pick up scroll, as I still feel bad about the yellow. We wipe. Ofc I die by the scroll, res in DC. Guess what? I got the scroll on my back. So I eun it to Rayles.... at this point Im getting so many whispers, that I am a cheater, and will get reported. That I used exploits ( god knows what that is, recon some cheats ) and a video have been taken as well. This is a bad glitch, Im not feeling good about what I have done, but I know both other factions would have taken EXACTLY this same advantage, and even brag about it.

ZOS please fix these issues.

@CallmeSunny Hmmm no. The thing in the video I've sent to Zos is totally different from that honestly, and I don't know what happened to you. I'm not sure that I understood what happened to you but I can say you are not in my videos. Can I give you an advice? If something feel wrong just log out. And relog. One time I got inside a closed keep due to the NB gap closer (ambush) I've used on a player I was chasing. I've done nothing, not made profit from this bug and simply used the cloak Tu run on the wall and then jump out off the keep. I am no one, just an advice to make it right 🙃

Also my ingame name is Sun-Set. Anyway, these days there are way too many trolls ingame... EP characters having DC and AD alts, and logging in to steal scrolls, and report movement, which is not clearly cheating, but immoral in my opinion. I play the game the way I enjoy, recommend everyone do the same. Just feel bad about these trolls, that this is their enjoyment, to ruin others...

Hmmm no. Even not knowing your in game name was a totally different thing, not possible to get confused about. I don't really mind if people have multiple account or not, if they log in for spy etc. I can understand bugs and everything, It is a massive game after all. I only make video when I'm pretty sure the thing isn't right, and happened 1 time (this time) in 6 years 🙃.

Why did you run it in twice? Once is a bug, twice is exploiting a bug which is cheating.

Oooooh, one of those. Was a while since I saw one of them, the only players I call cheaters since they're actually cheating.

I did that the other day on our own non contested keep and logged out thinking I was bugged..

Thanks for taking the time to report this @Vea. Many people don't bother reporting real instances of cheating unless they feel they are directly impacted. It can be difficult to capture video under normal circumstances, never mind in the sadly buggy, lagfest Cyrodiil is at the moment.

Lol, I've seen a whole guild go through fully repaired doors in cyr because they were mad, in a rush, using cheat software anyway, and knew they would not be punished. Given how relatively rarely I play in Cyr and the fact it was a top PVP guild on the server I've got to figure the abuse is both very common and willfully ignored by ZOS.

I made a thread a while back about a similar situation with a suspected cheater taking our scrolls by going through the walls, going over the walls, and hiding inside any inaccessible areas the player could find.

wrong. I never wrote that cheating is impossible. I criticised that more than a year old videos were posted as "proof" for current cheats.

When vea then sent me a link to the CURRENT video I replied, and the topic was finished for me as this was the proof I was looking for.
Not everybody is a forum-junkie like you who tries to raise his small ego by insulting other players. I went playing the game instead.
