I do not see how Steam would affect that but I will find out for myself soon enough if I too am affected.

Sounds like an addon issue. Have you tried on esoui to ask for support from the addon author directly? The feedback/comment pages often have issues etc from other users. Perhaps you'll find answers there.

So, again, simple clock hasn't been updated in 5 years, and the Wykkyd toolbar has lots of red and yellow text on the page about updating libs.
