Nope.. it's still in utc.... stupid clock... whats the point of the clock if it doesnt show me the local time?

The only point to displaying an in game clock is so i know what time it is where i am and so i can decide if i ned to do something else. A UTC in game clock is worthless!!!!!

DO YOU HEAR ME @ZOS_GinaBruno ????? Did your team do this?

I'm using Clock 2.0 (Tamriel Standard Time) by Tyx, which is displaying my local time in game (US MDT) not UTC. I'm on PC/NA.

Are you on a Mac? Or Linux? Did your OS have an update? That's such a strange thing to occur - and so far, it seems you're the only one with the issue....

I have the issue too i noticed.... Im on steam play and i disabled all my addons except for the clock which is showing UTC even though my system time is set to local time. Tried it on pc eu and na... clock is showing utc only in game. This must be steam play related..

I don't use any addons, but Simple Clock is an addon isn't it? Plus the other addon mentioned was showing UTC too. I assume it's a conflict of some sort between the addons and either the game or Steam. Are those addons fully supported and updated still? Have you pursued it with Steam?

Please stop being so unimaginative. All addons are disabled except for the one that shows the time. That's all it does is show the time. Since the time it now shows post this mornings maintenance is utc where as before it was local, that means there is clearly something different going on that the system reports all times in utc rather than local. The issue isnt with the addon, but with the system reporting the time differently. Clearly you can see that.

Wykkd Toolbar uses GetTimeString in the ESO API. Perhaps something was changed that it is grabbing UTC standard instead of local time.

I do not see how Steam would affect that but I will find out for myself soon enough if I too am affected.

Just to be sure, I deleted the game and reinstalled, to no avail on the time being reported in utc rather than local

NOW that's crazy... it's working again as it should...

So maybe it is an addon that is changing the api because after i activated all my addons it quit working correctly again and switched back to utc

No i dont think so. I enabled all the addons and it went back to the utc clock. Disabled all the addons, stayed at utc. switched to pc na, stayed at utc. exited eso and steam, reloged back in each, it defaulted to utc when i logged back into pc na. switched to pc eu, back to local time.

Sounds like an addon issue. Have you tried on esoui to ask for support from the addon author directly? The feedback/comment pages often have issues etc from other users. Perhaps you'll find answers there.

Simple clock hasn't been updated since 2015

Wykkyd toolbar has some info about updating the libs

No. This is what i have done so far. I have disabled all addons except simple clock and wykkd bar, then starting with all the lib files i have one by one enabled the libs and reloadedgui and this is what i found:

libmapmetadata, when activated also caused several other lib dependencies to load as well. when that happened, my time switched to utc rather than local. This lib file is used by harvest map. When i disabled the libmapmetadata and reloaded gui it did not go back to local time... instead i had to deselect the lib dependencies for it and exit from the game and steam and relogin and when i went back into the game it was back in local time. Still checking to se if there are any others that may have issue with my system today.... lots more to go...

So, again, simple clock hasn't been updated in 5 years, and the Wykkyd toolbar has lots of red and yellow text on the page about updating libs.

Have you asked there about this problem? The addon authors and other users post there. They can help you I think.Try asking there.

No i am still going through all the libs to see if i can track down any problem children

thus far LibDebugLogger is causing the time to switch to utc on my system.... I will continue testing them each one by one and see if there are any others...
