The thing is most of us want to play as vampires and feel like actual vampires while at the same time being able to do our roles (Dps,Tank, Healer). The regular power cost are another topic so I'll not go into that. But we can at least all agree we want cooler looking powers then the ones we currently have and be able to have skills that round our tool kit out nicely to allow us to play in Stage 4 and have access to cheap vampire powers. I suggest the following.
Eviscerate.
Morph 1. Have this morph be a melee stamina skill. Leave it as it is now, a claw attack or slash.
Morph 2. Turn it into that ranged magic single target black red-ish attack the npc used at the 2:50 time stamp in the video.
I think this would please both stamina and magic users and give us a useful range attack.
Batswarm 3:13 time stamp.
Give vampires a targeted AoE. This would give us a reliable aoe attack to round out our tool kit.
Or
Blood Spray (made up name) time stamp 2:36. This could be our cone attack as another AoE.
Blood mist. Change this morph into Blood Swarm. Keep the function the same but you instead turn into a swarm of bats. Just fits the theme of the vampire and makes sense.
Vampiric Drain.
Allow one morph to drain either stamina or magicka based on your highest stat. Leave the other as is that generates Ultimate. Oh and change the color of it. As it is it's way too colorful and bright to be blood.
Ultimate Scion.
Add the wing tips the vampire lords have to our models. Then while in form give our vampire abilities more kick or added bonuses or damage or something.
I think making these changes would round our kit out nicely and actually allow us to have 1 full bar worth of skills and be able to do decent dps.
So we have a:
- Single Target ranged or melee skill.
- AoE skill in Bat swarm(targeted AoE) or Blood Spray (cone).
- Self buff that drains health but boost damage.
- AOE stun in mesmerize
- Health/magicka/stamina drain.
- Mist form.
Ok..ok...i got carried away and ended up with 6 skills instead of the normal 5..but these are just ideas. This post ended up longer than expected but I'm just very passionate about vampires as I am about necromancers. And I want to actually enjoy playing mine and feel like I'm a creature of the night and not just some random vampire but a powerful one.

I love the suggestion but I think Blood Frenzy should just get scrapped altogether and replaced with the AoE bat skill theorized ((or a gap closer)). On the PTS there's 1 of 3 scenarios going on with this ability. The first scenario is the player has no idea how to heal through it and it ends up leading them to never use it, while the second one is they use the ability anyway but only sparingly. The third and final scenario is they run healing sets to outdo the health drain and now get so much power it powers their heals and damage dealing abilities allowing for some freaky things. Like getting hit with a 11k damage crystal frags level of crazy or Eviscerate just shredding though people at 10k damage per hit....
This is how crazy it can get.
