Okay so I was scrolling through the forums and I saw a lovely post by @XomRhoK that share the npc vampire abilities and they look soooooo coool here’s the vid they posted. Now i think we vampire fans would really like these npc vampire abilities implemented to our gameplay please. Now I think there are such cool ways you can do this, either by adding these abilities into the blood scion form like ww form or making a full new vampire class. it seems it wouldn’t be too difficult to add them in due to fact they are already in the game for the npc so it seems it would be easy but I don’t know the process behind it so idk. But please add these abilities for us!! Please and thank you! You all are doing amazing work!

just because you are fans, you don’t see how useless these skills are.
No one can say where, for what, and in what situation these skills can be useful, applied.
    But they certainly look cool.
You are not confused by really heavy fines, and a constant waste of time in maintaining the form. And the appearance does not want to say anything at all.
You blindly continue to believe that vampires in this game correspond to your ideas about vampires, but these are just your dreams that have nothing to do with reality.

A gap closer, a DOT AOE, multiple types of CC, summons, and a pull. Wow, seems the NPCs have the missing half of what would have made vampires an actually useful toolkit. Also the bat teleport is the very ability many people were theorizing we'd have in the rework, shame it got the ice wall treatment and given to the NPCs only. :disappointed:

    These skills aren't useless what?

They're literally better than what we got.

Explain to me how a siphon-stun, self-heal minion, knock-down dash, bunch of AoE blood magic and single target, a shadow clone teleport that explodes into AoE blood magic, and a life-drain pull (the blood scion ability) is useless.

Because quite frankly, I'm not seeing it lol.

I personally dont see it, quite a few of these could be seen as useful. The imp like creature providing you with a buff or healing, various aoes, a shadow clone similar to the NB skill, all have a solid use. As for your second bit, I dont quite understand your angle. Are you saying that because we arent rioting with torches and pitch forks about the vampire debuffs, that we are just blind delusional people? I genuinely don't understand

The problem you have here is you would have classes raging about ‘identity’, which is all well and good but sometimes the various ways to skin a cat cross over in style.

Due to not wanting to be emotionally traumatised due to how cool it probably looks, I haven’t seen the video, so I’ll go off what has already been said about the skills so far.

The gap closer (I’m assuming it is kinda like Rivenspire Bloodfiends) would have Nightblades in screaming fits.

The teleport skin described ‘like the Nightblades skill’ well that’s obvious, there would be a Nightblades riot.

The imp that gives healing, you would either have some Necromancer players scrabbling after you (as one I personally wouldn’t be bothered) but you might also annoy the Wardens, thought that does give resource and not healing.

Knock down dash ‘might’ have the Templar’s knocking.

Not that I care either way, I want a cool character.

We’re at the start of the PTS, if you haven’t yet and can, try out the current vampire changes - just so no one can say you haven’t. Then post your thread.
I mean this topic you started with the video. The skills exist already, why would it be so hard to swap things around? Add it in the feedback thread too, let them know what vampires really want to play.

Before anyone mentions ‘lore’...by the love of Sheogorath, lore be damned, we already have dragons.

This so much. In general I love new vampires, but those NPC skills are so darn awesome it would really compensate the 20% cost increase on other skills. Who needs them when I can be bloody meat grinder :D

You need to watch the video. Please. Just witness what normal NPCs get that we don't. Be emotionally traumatized with the rest of us. The gap closer is nothing like the nightblade's thing, and the shadow fiend that buffs/heals is fair, but it still looks cool, known dash isn't the templar's charge I dont think. It all looks so....cool....like if they showed literally these skills as the vampire rework, heck, I would be FINE with the crappy looking ultimate.

I've tried out vampire on the PTS and I have already shared this on the PTS side of the forums and in the feedback thread. I'm trying to get as many people on bored with this as possible. These skills are very cool and unique (An argument could be made for the shadow fiend buff thing, as it looks like a re-skin of the warden/necro ult, BUT IT LOOKS COOL)

Oh why did I watch that video, I want to cry now.

I WANT TO BE AN NPC VAMPIRE NAIO!!!

That shadow ‘image’ isn’t like the Nightblade one either (lol it’s better) it’s more like a dodge and an aoe blast...like a mix between shadow image and blast bones. The drain is a rehash of the original feeding animation, done in a way that makes sense - combat magical draining.

The spikes thing looks too much like the necromancer.

BUT GENERALLY: Why can’t these skills be added on to what it already there? You could almost spec as a vampire ‘class’.

Yeah the spikes were a necromancer ability that was accidentally thrown in there.

And don't worry man, I've been holding back the urge to cry for hours now.

Like bro I just want to be an NPC vampire now, I dont even want to play the game. Just let me be an NPC.

And I also really like the drain they get, it lifts the target up into the air and the animation looks so smooth and slick and the black/red coloring looks fantastic. And that's what I'm saying in regards to the skills! An idea would be to have these skills available during blood scion form, replacing/being added onto your normal ones.

I also kinda wish we had an OPTION a CHOICE to choose which skill line we wanted. The current vampire rework line or a line that has *those* abilities.

Man, notice how none of them used claw slashes as their main damaging ability? Wish we had that.

I PLEASE PLEASE implore you to spread the word on the PTS form and the official feedback thread.

I am also think that Blood Scion transformation should alter your vampiric abilities. I already made suggestions in feedback about that, it's not set in stone, but possible direction of changes. Some quick overview:
    - In Blood Scion form you can't use Weapon skills and attack with claws, you can use all non weapon skills, your vampire skills receive some improvements.
    - Vampiric Drain: while in Blood Scion form additionally restore mana and stamina and can't be interrapted.
    - Mist Form: while in Blood Scion form add bat swarm around mist, while in mist form you can use skill as a gap closer on enemy.
    - Mesmorize: in regular form it's singe target, melee skill, and you can bite mesmerized players/NPCs restoring HP and ultimate. While in Blood Scion form skill became ranged, you mesmerize and drag enemies to close range and from close range you can bite them, in Blood Scion form instead of ultimate points bite prolong time of your transformation. Visuals with Vampiric Grasp from TES: Skyrim in mind.

Also ZOS can free one more slot for interesting ability. Blood Frenzy can be moved to passives, and HP loss can be achieved by more/all skills consuming HP, if ZOS really want to stick to this mechanics which i don't really like.
And one more slot, if they remove Eviscerate and in return give us oppotunity to attack with claws in Blood Scion form and in regular form by introducing ring(for example) in their new Antiquities system, ring will force unarmed animation and replace it with unarmed claws animation of Bloodfiend NPCs, weapon damage, sets, traits, maybe enchants will still work, just weapon will not be visible. So Light and Heavy attacks will take niche of claw attacks, and will free space for new interesting ability.

But even if ZOS implement this i can’t use it, because i absolutly don't like visuals of Blood Scion form. I don't like horns, i don't like his huge height, bulkiness body, shoulder and hips armor that made him even more bulky, I don't like his slow movement animation, i don't like that he is glowing like christmas tree. I posted a picture in another thread with comparison of what transformations we could get and what we have now:

Now I think there are such cool ways you can do this, either by adding these abilities into the blood scion form like ww form or making a full new vampire class.

An idea would be to have these skills available during blood scion form, replacing/being added onto your normal ones.

    Right! I need this lol!

Yesssss! Please make your distaste known on the PTS and the official vampire feedback thread.

I just hope they listen to our wants for these abilities! :)

Right! I am a huge vampire fan so I was looking forward to the revamp of vampire and then it came out and I thought it was cool but missing some abilities to be able to build a vamp only build with only vampire abilities then I saw this video and I wanted to cry because the NPCs felt more like a vampire that I want to be :(

Yeah, I had the same reaction. I saw the new skills and thought, cool, this is an improvement, though it still seems like just the scaffolding. For sure you'd have to use some of your other skills to complete your kit, though the cost increase discourages that. And now that I see what we're missing. . . I'm just sad.
