(Resolved!!!!) For those of you who were incorrectly suspended (not banned), this is what I did

    i have my account back as well when i seen that yours was resolved with no email phone call back i decided to check mine as well and was relieved that i was able to log back in.

    There is definitely a fear after this. Not sure what caused the suspension, how do we ensure it doesn't happen again?

    Now with my coffee here, I can say we cannot be sure of that, but the appeal procedure seem to be working if we did nothing wrong. Have fun and try to forget :)

    yeah especially people like @xxs0cksxx. It's so great when trolls are proven to be trolls.

    A game full of dupers and hackers or some innocent people get suspended for a couple of hours every once in awhile?

    Ill take the accidental suspensions.

    Unfortunately I am also a wife who now can not play because her husband was banned... He spent 3 hours on hold, no answer. Requested a call back 5 minutes before sitting on hold. No call. He has put in a ticket to appeal this and now can not post on the forums. I know for a fact that all we have done is simple use of the guild bank as intended we are not the type of players to cheat or exploit anything on purpose.
    Earlier I was hit with bank inventory space loss bug that has yet to be resolved. Even though the customer service team kept sending me a ticket back saying it was solved.
    My husband had trouble getting you to help him with getting his CE stuff that we paid for and now this has happened.
    I try to patient knowing this is a game launch and bugs and stuff happen but this is simply ridiculous. It had become a trial to even try to enjoy your product.
    Now my husband and I love this game and see that has potential. We started a guild here and had every intention of being loyal consumers who simply wanted to enjoy your product.
    We are both gamers and have played multiple MMOs we have never had this much trouble with the customer service in a game.
    This greatly disappoints us because we really wanted to enjoy this game, and looked forward to it. But if there is not some sort of turn around you will lose us as customers and we will make sure all the gamer friends and family we have know of our bad experience.

    My husband's latest ticket # 140418-058602

    Honestly, the way all of this has been handled is simply bad business all around! If something is not resolved for us soon we will be contacting the Better Business Bureau to file a complaint.

    Agreed, and that includes the current silence on reinstatements.

    Why were these accounts banned in the first place?
    What steps can someone take to avoid being flagged in the future?

    Given the level of vitriol that ZOS staff have engendered today with posts about the legitimacy of the bannings, followed by the stealth reinstatements, I think we should see some serious mea culpas soon.

    If you've put in for an appeal, just wait for a bit. Keep trying to log in, they won't notify you.

    As for the BBB, no MMO company gives a crap about that and it's not going to do any good at all. If you want action, go to your local small claims court and file a small claims suit. They will have to provide evidence or have a default judgment against them. I know where I am if you are proven in the right, they'll tack on a 500$ penalty. :) If they don't show up it's even better.. but document everything so you have it.

    I would much prefer that ZOS focus on sorting out the issues in the game for now. They can explain all they like once that is done but I'm glad they are choosing not to waste time pandering to the needy on the forums. I'm sure you will agree, some of the threads that have been started smack of an entitlement culture and nothing more.
    Also; understand people are upset with bans and such but please, please don't follow the advice of people like the above. Not only is it a massive waste of the time and resources of the judicial system in your local area, it won't come to anything and will (hopefully) end up being at a cost to yourself. For whatever reason, your accounts were banned for -something-, whether you agree with that something or not is irrelevant as you signed your agreement to the terms of service when you logged on to the game in the first place. That is and will always be the cushion they will fall on.
    I bet if you asked for a refund they would give it, otherwise just be patient. I understand that it must be frustrating but surely there are other things you can do whilst you wait.

    I know the situation is upsetting but try to remain calm things will get fixed for those who are Innocent. If you know you didn't do anything wrong you have nothing to worry about. you'll prob just miss the weekends gameplay it's not the end of the world. remember don't forget your family and friends oh and your job!

    No, I do not agree. I believe that ZOS owes the entire community an apology for this error. And I do believe it was an error, a very large one with consequences they failed to take into account. If it really has anything to do with our accounts at all, it needs to be open as to what caused a false flag on such a widespread group of their customer base so that it can be avoided or mitigated in the future. It isn't wasting time to ensure proper, open communication with your customers.

    You obviously haven't read my post as I am the OP. My acccount was suspended due to THEIR mistake and has been reinstated just like many of us here.

    Case 140418-060952

    Yesterday i.e. 18.4.14 after 7 days of oncall duty I finely sit in front of TESO with hope of good time and relax with my familly and friends. Shortly after we entered Grotto my wife get disconnected. Ok ...this happens occasionaly so she tried to login back but credetials were not accepted as we later find out caused by suspended account. First we just laugh on irony but after we try reset password as thought it she made a typo we stop laughing as account was seriously suspended without any proper investigation,prove and what is worst comunication to customers !




    I'd like to say that I'm happy Zenimax take some steps against "cheaters" which are runin MMOs by exploiting like it was mentioned. That is why I decided go for another try with nonfree game where I as customer get for my money also some care and support. Now you make me sorry.


    But:

    - Forcing ppl pay extra for next 30 days after you already bought game with prepaid 30 days
    - Scheduled maintenances which are mentioned nowhere until they start without specified timeframe
    information.
    - Instable connection
    - Bunch of other in game bugs
    - Gold selers .. I never saw before on start of any MMO so many active GS and bots . Focus on big guilds and players named like dffdsaa,hhvvc etc. which are obviously bots staying 8q4bpcugaoi4.png
    in public dung whole day next to boss. Are there any GMs ingame btw ?
    - and we can go further ... but i have no strenght (as I'm pretty ... now)

    - Now banning innocent ppl without any prove and what is worst without any proper communication.


    Your presentations points out how you don't wanna bother ppl by mistakes from other MMOs in and out game but you wanst able handle basics solved in other even much older MMOs.
    What the management of Zenimax think this will lead to ? Please reconsider your approach !
    And also I wonder how Zenimax will compensate affected customers for they lost time and money until accounts get active !

    FINALLY UNBANNED.
    Okay, so after a few tickets and a few hours(went to sleep, dunno how many. More than 5 for sure. 10? 12?) I have been unbanned in game. Yay. After a few more hours, I even received a (canned) apology.
    However, my FORUM account has been unbanned just now. About 20 hours after it's been banned.

    Don't want to hear us tell everyone you screwed up? Too late for that, guys. I was so glad my problem's been addresed this morning, I might've calmed down about this, but being banned on forum? Trying to shut me up? I HAVE a right to voice my opinion, and ATM it is NOT in favour of ESO. And I want everyone to hear it, too.

    I'm glad it got resolved today, at least - from past experience didn't expect it to take less than several days, so maybe they're actually learning something. But the whole thing should've never happened in the first place.

    I will continue playing, because the game itself is awesome, I love it. However, CS still sucks.

    Besides, dunno who the ban was ORIGINALLY aimed at, but gold spammers of Glenumbra seem more active than ever before.

    People like you need to stop comparing Amateur Hour at Zenimax to Blizzard. Blizzard has over a decade of experience and runs a dedicated anticheating code that is amazingly advanced. Zenimax doesn't have anywhere near the tools or experience that Blizzard has and as such there is no comparison.

    That'd be the same $1bn+ global company who've been in the gaming market for well over a decade and are now marketing this game as a AAA MMO title?

    This ain't no indie company unexpectedly in over their head with a surprise hit you know...

    Is there an actual number somewhere that you can talk to a human being when this sort of thing happens, my account is suspended due to a bank fraud alert that I didn't even place. Its been over a week and the online ticketsysten is leading me nowhere?
