Should animations be reworked or removed so we no longer have to "cancel them"?

How long are you going to keep spamming these stupid polls? You do this every couple of months or so, you spam polls for a few weeks for a cry for attention, everyone gets annoyed with you and you leave for a while, then you come back to do it again, then rinse and repeat.

    Get a clue.

I think you've already done 10 posts about animation cancelling and players skill gap. It's not even that hard to get used to it, it's just practice, i mean why we should remove the only thing that divide a skilled player from a casual? No point to remove a 6 y/o mechanic just because some players don't bother to get better (cough).

I find it hilarious that all these anti animation cancelling people think removing weaving will suddenly fix the issue of them being able to clear content.

From my experience you can't keep up your dots and buffs, use terrible skills, terrible sets, have no idea how to place dots to maximize cleave, poorly optimise CP, missing so many buffs in your group or just terrible uptimes and the list goes on. Try fixing those things first before complaining and making another should animation cancelling be remove poll.

I'm pretty sure it has to do with engine limitations and pretty much impossible.

i basically do it in a tic-toc way of an old clock - not too fast, not too slow - works better than doing it too fast. So there is no need to rework or even remove it - to remove it would be against immersion. This shouldn't be n the same option anyway, but I am more for NO than YES in this case.

The difference is still drastic between button mashing and not button mashing to the point of jerky animation cancels when it comes to DPS. I absolutely slaughter larger targets while running around when I make my character appear epileptic rather then Dodging around and making the skills flow together in what would be "natural" for a person to do if these abilities were real.

Animation cancelling is horrible to watch, unless the dps meter is what you are watching.

Yeah, the general idea that one can dodge at any time is a weird one - if you are swinging a large weapon you would have momentum and cannot dodge suddenly - if you would be concentrated on casting a spell, you shouldn't be able to dodge. It should be either or - when you commit to an ability you shouldn't be able to just let go on it and do something else. And the impact of a weapon swing shouldn't be at the start of the motion either. ZOS designed it illogical unfortunately.

But it isn't going to happen that this will be done in a more logical way - so i vote for NO - not that they mess it up even more.
