What happens when you assume people are guilty when you have no idea what is going on? Maybe when you get booted and banned and don't know why someone will give you the benefit of the doubt.

They got caught. Period. This same outcry happened a few years ago when Blizzard did a ban wave of like, a hundred thousand accounts for exploiting / scripting.
The thing about exploiting currency, is it's extremely traceable. There was zero tolerance - so if you did it once, you were most likely banned for it. Everyone will profess innocence, but the majority are most likely guilty - if not all of them. It's not like this was some crazy hack or impossible exploit - this was very easy to do and most likely abused by a ton of people who never thought ZoS was watching. Surely they regret it now, but that's life, be honest and have integrity and this wont happen.
I dunno, I wouldn't be posting in a forum about the whole thing if I was actually innocent - I'd be quietly talking to customer support and getting it fixed. They are mad because they got caught and now have lost $60. #PlayByTheRules #StopWhining #GoodGame$60

All the noise makes them look guilty.
here the problem though, my main character is level 17, i sell motifs when i find them, just finished with iron crafting so selling those mats. and i got banned this morning. i run a default client, and did not even know duping existed till i read the forums after i got banned, so please do not say we are all cheaters. some of us are victims.

It's unfortunate this exploit came to light just before the weekend, but I'd be blaming the exploiters for this one rather than ZOS or (next move) any members of the forum.jsharrad_ESO wrote: »The noise is because it's the weekend and we can't play a game that we paid for because their automation/scripts for detecting exploiters is broken.
