I didn't receive the extra maps or anything myself but I've been banned as well it seems so it isn't just those people. I suspect they mass banned everyone who either came into contact with duped items/gold or anyone who has had a ticket filed against them for anything ranging from spam to suspected botting to farming to whatever...0

Ban everyone. Lock them out of their accounts so they can't deactivate the payment plan they were forced to create because they weren't given an activation code when they pre-ordered the game. I know this strategy zenimax. Isn't this what the gyms and *** sites do?2

You know... they just might be up to it. I am amazed at the level of incompetence with online matters these folks have shown... I mean isn't ZoS the company Bethesda/Zenimax made just to deal with online? Seems like they have missed the boat somewhere.

Bazzakrak✭✭✭Even if some or all of us whom are affected by this round of bans have duped on purpose, we can still be caught up in it.
If we have bought something from someone, and that items has been duped.
If we have sold something to someone and they have used tainted gold to buy it.
But they could have send out some e-mails to us, telling us we were banned due to <insert standard reason>, or even getting a confirmation on our ticket would be nice.
Personally I am pretty calm about this, I am pretty sure I have done nothing wrong.
I will log on to The Secret World, check out the new missions there, go sleep afterwards, and then see how it looks saturday.

Missed the boat doesn't quite cover it. This is more a case of : took a plane to the wrong country, then got into a car and drove to the docks to try and catch a train in order to make it back to your bike that you left locked to the lamp post outside your house.4 -

Yeah, good luck with that, you can't log in to cancel and remove your billing information.
And if ONE person says "Oh don't worry, they won't bill you if you're banned, your account is fine" they deserve to get hit in the face with a shovel. Repeatedly.
Given the sheer level of incompetence this company has displayed at EVERY turn, I wouldn't put it past them to double bill everyone they banned.

ElliottXO✭✭✭✭✭Another bad move from zenimax. They think they have to stick to some auto ban crap in order to clean the game, but the best solution would've been immediate per hand banning from the start. Now they caused themselves more work than benefit with all the false bans.

I have just realized that the only thing why I could have been banned are those freaking maps they sent... I have 3 sets right now as I was hit by bank bug 4 times... So not only were all my reports ignored, I also get banned?? AYFKM????0

How the hell do you fight with an incompetence on such a high level? They hit at least VR10 pulling this ***. Allowing bots to hand out bans without verification, then getting more support tickets than they can possibly handle. Essentially locking people out of the overpopulated servers that are full of lag, drops, infinite loading screen and bugged quests/NPC/items/skills. Patching twice a week because you discover game breaking bugs. Should I even expect them to get something right?1

Thinking currently there is some correlation to whatever is being used in collecting information/metrics on teleporting bots and people who have experienced 'falling through the world' and using the /stuck function to get out.

To reiterate for any mods that might be perusing this thread: I was in Siliumm, reported 5 apparent afk botters on the boss spawn. I only participated in one boss killing and then moved on. Went to Daggerfall to sell/deconstruct my full inventory. Got kicked to character select while deconstructing at the woodworking bench. Loaded back in, continued deconstructing, then got kicked to login screen. "Account information is incorrect, please try again". Multiple attempts yielded the same results. I went to my account page to check for problems and got the "You have been suspended from the site". I then came to the forums to look for help and found this thread.0
