Do you have any source for an upcoming nerf to light attack damage?
Without playtesting, I'm not going to say I mind the proposed change a ton. While I've always liked animation cancelling for faster attacks, weaving is not something I am as wed to. It was a necessary part of doing damage, not something I 'enjoyed' or felt made combat smoother/more interesting.
Also, using heavy attacks situationally is interesting. Not sure their changes will actually bridge the gap between low and high apm players though.

It almost seems like low apm players will still run out of resources while high apm ones may never run out.
You can grab your torches and forks: I like the LA nerfs.
Right now 99% per of all players weaver a LA in between their skills. On live servers there was zero room for anything other than LA - 1 - LA -1 - LA -2 - LA -3 playstyle.
