Six years of nothing but a downhill slide of worsening performance, expecting some new "Performance Improvement" initiative was not realistic since nothing has changed at ZOS. They're just here to milk the casual pve'ers and rp'ers who haven't had a new ES game in a decade through their cash shop. The sooner you come to terms with it and move on, the better off you'll be.

No need to wait until the patch works on pc. Let's just roll it out...
It still has to be done to speed up patch loads and lessen memory leaks, but if you want to complain about the game as it is now and never get the progressive fixes...okay lol
Not like I play on console anyway.
I'm talking about them rolling it out on other platforms despite not working on pc...
I'm not complaining about them delaying a patch that won't work. They are delaying the patch on pc because they have identified it doesn't work. Yet they are releasing a patch on consoles that has been tried, tested and proven to not work.
I am pointing out the hypocrisy in this...
I don't play console either.
Have consoles had the big download patch? I feel like we’re talking about two different patches.
I also think that the patch delayed but originally for the 9th is not in fact the patch being out on console.
Reasoning includes: too soon. Pc is experimented on first.
That is my point, they shouldn't release the patch on consoles until they have it working on PC. So when they do drop a patch that fixes the current problems, then release it to console. Maybe I didn't make myself clear😂
Except that console may have other issues the PCs don’t have. So it has to be bit by bit, like giving 20 vaccinations at once you’re more likely to kill the recipient due to unforeseen complications.
So my point is, Monday’s patch isn’t the same one the consoles are getting. To progress and see how consoles respond they have to get the big patch, as well as to sort the glaring issues which means - big patch needed for consoles, needed / little Monday patch for PCs, not needed yet.
Nothing in MMOs is perfect and I don’t mean that to be an excuse as it is often used for awful game releases, but consoles need the big patch to start progressing, that’s not a question or they can’t get Greymoor on time.

Boy do I wish; there are so many better games out there that actually are based around PvP and yet here a lot of people are acting like Cyrodiil is the center of ZOS's universe and they don't have any other end-game content available.
Let em finish their performance update plan and we will see where it goes; if things don't improve at the end of all their adjustments then yeah it's a good time to riot. But executing a plan in steps is better than doing it in one go so they aren't playing the game of "Which part of it went wrong?" Do it in pieces so you know which parts go wrong and you can fix the part before adding another.

I don’t know why you’d say that. If you like MMO pvp what would you suggest? A lot of good elements of this game are a continuation of DAoC and I like them. There really isn’t an alternative, WOW has always been a joke for pvp, what else is there?
If it wasn’t for performance the game would be decent.

Yeah WoW pvp is pretty terrible. It's like they don't even have tournaments that pay a crap ton of cash. Probably don't have tournaments for PvE either.

Yes, we just misunderstood what they meant when they said improve! they are improving the performance issues!

Lack of competion
If there was some the issues would go (empty servers probably work)

I was in Cyro, and it was ok...as in I killed a bunch of folks. However, 1 fight sticks in my mind. I tried to Leap this dude and it didn’t go off after 4 tries. Killed him with something else.
Another fight, I was kiting through some trees, fighting and every other skill wasn’t going off. No matter what it was: light attack, whip, RAT whatever. Left Cyro. Thought about what I’d do next? PvE? Been doing a lot of that lately.
So you rather have them go live with a potentially worse issue that can lead to even more and larger problems... logic?Hi everyone,
As you may have noticed, we recently adjusted the maintenance banners to indicate there is no longer a PC incremental patch scheduled for Monday, March 9. While we were performing final checks for the build this afternoon, we noticed one of the fixes was causing some new issues affecting combat. We have made the decision to delay the incremental patch until we're able to fix this issue and ensure the patch is stable.
We’ll let you know when we have a new date scheduled for the patch.

I'm not denying you or anyone is having issues with combat. Many (more than enough are) across multiple threads and forums are. Can't get everything right on the first try in certain things. Sometimes, a minor delay to maint. is more beneficial in the long run. Who knows, it may end up fixing the current combat issues after they work out what they discovered in the maint. it may not.JumpmanLane wrote: »StormeReigns wrote: »JumpmanLane wrote: »I just bought the Ultimate Edition of Red Dead 2. I would hope that ZOS would be on top of their game. That they wouldn't create issues every time there was a major update. They do concede there are problems. Truly, I believe they are working on them even.
However, when I login and play, my completely min/maxed, tweaked to the last stat toon simply cannot do the same things it did before Update 25.
Block drops, at the wrong time. Light attack won't fire at times, so weaving is out. Leap, IF I can get it to fire off at all is slow. Skills in general are "lucky if it fires at all." And that's in lagless pve. Solo in a dungeon with 60 fps (60 hrz monitor) with 83 ping. In lagged out Cyro it's like fighting in goo.
It's just not fun. That's my point.
One thing I don’t get is why cater to the casual market? I always assume casual players don’t have a sub, if you’re a casual player why would you have ESO+?
