✭✭He is the reason only two of my characters have done content in Summerset. I think it is a side quest, but something tells me he is kind of required for another quest to move forward.
It's a delve quest and isn't tied to the main questline, so you're safe if you want to avoid it. Also the crew in the crafting area doesn't show up at all unless you log in right there. I actually had to jump through some hoops to hear the song at all because I never log characters off in the crafting area.

Actually, I don't dislike him, but he is patently designed to be shunned. Instead, I find him way preferable to those sanctimonious Lyris and Sai Sahan. This last one is on top of my hateful list. I always make him die in the main quest, and do not return to the the Senchal DLC just to avoid his presence (all those purring cats have a good share of responsibility, though)5 -

✭✭✭✭Stuga, Laurent and Rigurt are very high on my list too. The quest log size limit means there can be a large cost in silencing Stuga.
I won't comment on anybody adapted from hireling emails, e.g. Pacrooti or Narsis Dren.
I no longer patronize the worst of the bankers.
I have no idea why anybody would hate Ayrenn. I'd think the spectrum of feelings about her would range from "Love her!" to "Meh." Estre, on the other hand ...
I think Lyris is great, although at this point I have trouble forcing myself through through the Main Quest yet again. (My 18th character hasn't even been stabbed by Manimarco, let alone gotten a history lesson.)
And I'm annoyed by all of Vanus, Telenger and Neramo.1 -

Stuga ofc but on all characters first thing I do is that first quest so I never have to hear her.

Coppes✭✭✭✭Queen Ayrenn, never really liked her. I don’t really understand why.

✭✭There is a quest giver in Riften that is way worse than Stuga. He will follow you into buildings (usually when you are doing the last Mages Guild quest) and just creep you out.
And of course Veya, annoying in Morrowind - so much worse in Summerset.So they raised the floor and lowered the ceiling. Except the ceiling has spikes in it now and the floor is also lava.2 -

✭✭Of course Stuga will be the meme answer. But what peeves me even more than "Do you know how much I hate this NPC?" are NPCs who just won't stay dead.
If I've sacrificed Sai Sahan I want him to stay very dead. No, Lyris does not get to come back just because ZOS needs to sell the newest chapter. And darn Razum'dar should be very much buried in that collapsed elven ruin in Reaper's March. None of that nine lives [snip].

I'm fine with Raz coming back since Raz is too awesome to die. and I guess I'm lucky I've only ever picked Varen to die in the story.
TBH Varen makes the most sense. He caused the problem by believing mannimarco, and he even offered and basically begged to be the sacrifice.Playing your character the way your character should play is all that matters. Play as well as you can but never betray the character. Doing so would make playing an mmoRPG pointless.3 -

BlueViolet✭✭✭✭✭Sun-In-Shadow. I can't stand her. I don't even find Stuga as annoying / unlikeable as this NPC and that's saying a lot.
The Prophet - he is sacrificed every time I do the main quest in my game.
Vanus Galerion - as said above or earlier, I too find him incredibly obnoxious, loud and overbearing.
I personally love Abnur, because he acts like such a ***. I too find it preferable to the attitudes of Lyris and Sai Sahan. He just seems more human to me than the holier than thou kind of mindset the others possess. And he has some really great lines with awesome delivery that always make me laugh.

@Minyassa Thank you. I always feel like I'm the only person saying this. There is a cadre of high elves with his same voice and they all annoy the begeezes out of me. They don't sound like high elves at all, just all american A-holes. And it baffles me that everyone always seems fine with it!
Edit: oh and just wanna say no hate towards the voice actor. I've heard him do other characters and he's fine. This particular part though just... I cringe everytime I hear it.Edited by worrallj on March 8, 2020 3:29AM1 -
