    So many good ideas, I just hope this thread is one that the dev's take notice of. WW's NEED a massive overhaul.

    New powers, bug fixes, new passives, reduced cost, better devour..the list goes on and on....

    It would be so nice if we did not request changes, I know I suggested something, I shouldn't have done that, and just focus on being as clear as we can with what is not working and what is. Once everything is working as intended maybe we won't want some changes as much as others, not that it would need it, maybe it would, but who knows.

    I find being a WW is like accepting a burden so that others don't have to. Not that this burden is something that is required to be carried. It is a way to make my game experience a bit more unique even if poison and fighters guild skills are my Achilles heel.

    Just my opinion and it doesn't mean much at all.

    Are the WW that have pack leader still not seeing the benefits of it? I haven't picked the morph for the transformation yet after my respec yesterday.

    I have noticed without having the WW berserker morph on the transform I feel like I am swinging, light attack, in slow mo. The added bleed damage doesn't seem that missed though.

    Make transformation cost and duration vary depending on these aspects.
    So keep the cost 1000 and a basic timer of 30 sec for daytime, reduce cost to 500 and increase duration to 60 sec during night time and further improve this to 300 cost and 90 sec during full moon.

    This change alone would mean a HUGE difference imo, it would create awesome gameplay situations: during full moons packs of werewolves would hunt in Cyrodiil, other players would equip their Fighters Guild skills during such nights and go WW hunting...It would spice things up so much and give WWs something they could actually use and feel comfortable with.

    This needs to happen :)

    EDIT: Also, resistance to CC based on werewolf level wouldn't hurt. Maybe a 2 lvl passive with 30% and 60%. Otherwise we're pretty much dead to begin with.

    sounds not bad, but the moonphases are not a good idea.
    some player cant play all the time, so some can only play on specific days...they would have a huge disadvantage compared to other players.
    cost reduction during night would be a great passive ability

    I've gotta say, I agree on the ultimate thing guys. But what I don't understand is that I have to go to really high level places just to build my ultimate because the enemies I'm around don't actually impact on it. Anybody else having that problem?

    Also (I know nobody's mentioned this but) I think there should be some more customisation options for werewolves. I mean, my char as black hair and green eyes, it would be kl if his werewolf was the same. (Plus the sounds could use a touch up too, anybody agree?)
    Zenimax and Bethesda should defiantly take a hint from this guy ;

    There are too many bugs and questionable game design choices, like not being able to break CC in a game with no CDs,

    This bit??? Can't break CC???. Do you play this game? lol, Yes i agree though the werewolf is broken.

    Definitely could be better, but should be improved upon after the initial disastrous bugs are dealt with.

    Zenimax really needs to pay this issue attention immediately. Vampires are working fine with actual pros to being vampires, werewolves are pretty much all cons for something LESS powerful (at the moment anyway.) Lycanthropy has always been my favorite feature of any Elder Scrolls game, and to have it be this hard to use is excruciating. Ultimate needs to be lowered, feeding needs to actually gain you more time than the animation takes to play, numerous other bugs need to be fixed, etc. Also, as much as I absolutely love the silver bolt ability, in all honesty, it needs to be nerfed. The banish effect is fine, but the knockdown needs to have a cool down, like maybe once every 20 seconds or something? So that werewolves and vampires aren't eternally screwed over by easily spammed heat-seeking crossbow bolts of knock back (amongst other things) during pvp. Zenimax said we would be able to go on rampages, let us go on our rampages! Zenimax said we would feel powerful, let us feel powerful! Fix the bugs! Make things enjoyable! Improve upon the savage creatures of Lord Hircine! Give us the power we were promised! And to close this up, if you are going to make an ability cost 1000 ultimate points to use, it needs to feel like it was WORTH 1000 ultimate points. 60 quick seconds is not enough. With only 60 seconds, you might as well use a better, more effective ability that costs 120 ultimate instead.

    Vampires are not working fine.
    Both transformations and their associated abilities/passives are busted.

    Like I said in my earlier post, these were there in BETA and nothing was addressed come launch. Don't hold your breath for a fix anytime soon.

    Yes I probably do sound like a whiner and a broken record but you have to consider they had testing done years prior to the hype and fanboy fluffing 'beta' events they held -_-

    One thing I can see that helps this is the set bonus of "of the Dragon" gear. Drops the cost down to like 700. Even then, the cost is too much in my opinion.

    One thing I would like to see implemented though, is the ability to continue gaining Ultimate points and tacking them onto the time, as you were in WW form. Between that and pounce, I could see this being somewhat useful. Extending the time gained from devour is also a must. Personally, I think the timer should gain a full transformation worth of time from one devour, but I would settle for half.

    I realize they were trying to keep WW from being OP. Well, they succeeded. Unfortunately, they also made WW completely useless, in the process.

    I also think there should be positive passives in human form, or take away the f-ing weakness. Either way.

    I would love to see this fixed, or I am keeping my WW form as trophy and nothing more.

    Major disappointments of werewolf skill tree for me personally were:
    - the time it takes to build up 1000 ultimate for few seconds of action
    - no aoe or self healing capabilities. if i find myself jumping into a group of 3 npc i end up dead most of the time
    - and of course, the lack of skills. 2 skills and no specific ultimate - what??

    Seriously the design of werewolf is flawed ALOT. It has to be reworked. Not only its useless but has major drawbacks in pvp too.

    I wouldn't say it is flawed in the way it is designed. I would say the functionality that exist is flawed due to bugs. Once they get everything working and address some of the point cost problems with it, I hope it will be good. I'd rather not have more skills for the WW or any single thing like the vamp.

    You kinda are a savage beast without much self control. You know how to run, claw at things, bite, and howl... not sure if you could really do much else. ?!

    use your fear to scatter individuals and kill them. disorient, heavy strike, light attack to death. The fear is really powerful. Ohh and pounce on their faces, but watch your stam.

    I can confirm that sometimes pounce doesn't work and you're stuck in crouching mode.
    On top of that sometimes devour doesn't work at all, the icon just disappear even when you're standing on top of a fresh corpse.

    1000 Ultimate is too much as people here pointed out

    And for some reason I can't seem to level my pounce and roar skills. They level very very slowly, even when I'm using it on enemies around my level and unlike transformation, these skills don't get quest exp. I can't even level it past level 1, let alone getting it to 4.

    Am I doing it wrong?

    They should get quest XP, but yea they do level up pretty slowly. While leveling I just put them on my hot bar one at a time(so I had one useless slot). This way the one slotted would gain xp even if I wasn't transformed.

    For the record, I'm not trying to suggest that ZOS does a copy/paste of the vampire design for WW.

    The problem is that a 100% stam focused build, without any effective way to regain stats, is not viable. Just fixing the bugs would not be enough to make WW useful in PvE or PvP. Once you're out of stam you are pretty much useless and stuck with normal running and spamming left click.

    Here's what I would like to see for abilities:

    1) A self heal that is used for emergencies and grants increased hp recovery for x amount of seconds(so similar to dragon blood). This way if we are hit with a burst we are able to recover enough to "hold on" and counterattack. Instead of currently where we are as good as dead. It could be done as another roar type of skill or require you to bite your target.

    2) An ability similar to Immovable. Make us immune to CC for x amount of seconds. I want to feel like a raging beast, not some domesticated puppy due to a single CC spam.

    3) An ability that transfer part of my mana pool into my stamina. If we're going to be 100% stam based, then at least give us an ability that helps make it viable.

    Tweaks:

    Devour: This skill should only be interrupted by knockbacks or other action breaking CC(like stuns) and return a % of your hp and stam. It's bad how easy it is to interrupt this skill and receive nothing.

    Pounce: Knockdown your target for x amount of seconds(like every other charge in the game). This skill should be useful on its own and not be forced to crutch on another.

    Passives:

    Pursuit: While transformed - Increase stamina by 20% and detect stealthed players within 12 meters. Bonuses are cut in half if out of WW form. You shouldn't be able to stealth away from a WW. It should be a difficult task. While our "normal" form needs some bonuses as well from our werewolf skill line.

    Beastial Vigor(replace devour in the skill line): Increase HP regeneration by 20%. Bonus is cut in half if out of WW form. I'm not really sure about this one, but devour should be known by default and I feel our normal form needs another benefit.

    Why not just let the get exp as long as you slot in the Transformation Ultimate?

    The running animation looks a bit off to me. Kinda runs (more like walking) like he needs to take a *** really bad.

    I only read OP but felt that my comment was appropriate for this thread: I can't bite someone. They don't have vampirism.

    I recently reached level 6 and went to the shrine in The Rift with them, used my ultimate, saw X Devour but upon selecting that option, nothing happened, the X Devour disappeared and the intended "victim" did not get their werewolf bite / scratch. I left and tried it again, and the same thing happened, I was worried it would be on a timer and at the same time hopeful that it would work a second time but again: the same thing happened. I was unable to turn the ally in my party of two.

    I had that problem too, I think you need to get out of the shrine area then come back.
    What I did in DC was to swim away to the other side of the lake then return.
    The bite icon is like Devour if i'm not mistaken.

    Yes, you can slot them on your regular bar when you are not a Werewolf. They cannot be used, but they still gain xp like any other skill.

    The fix for DC is to run into the water, then run back to your intended target to bite. For AD they have to devour a nearby mob first.

    I would try something similar and see what fixes it for your side.
