The most annoying skill ever.

Snipe, lethal arrow, focused aim. Easilly the worst way to die and the most annoying skill in the game. It hits as hard as wrecking blow, lethal arrow has a better debuff and can be used without even setting foot in to harms way. Its the ultimate way to third party any sort of 1v1 fight and rewards those who spam it at someone not directly fighting you. Bow could really use either a source of major fracture or or a source of major brutality, I personally (and I think nearly everyone who isn’t a snipe stacker using a bow) would love nothing more than to see the current snipe gone and the skill repurposed in to something that works best not continually spammed but used in a combination.

I can think of more annoying skills than that, like fossilize.
As a main magicka player i actually don't have any problem with snipe. The moment i hear it i instantly roll dodge, i can't even remember the last time i got killed by it honestly.

Cloak is the most annoying. It's because when I fight a NB and they're about to take that L, they cloak away. Then they try to attack from stealth again but when they fail to kill me, they cloak away again. So at a point, I get tired of the game and want to walk away. Since they've had to cloak so much, they should do the same. But they don't, they keep trying to attack from stealth and I'm just over it.

I know this has been said a lot but... Just use detect pots and/or an AOE dude. The kind of nightblade you are describing falls so easily once they can't rely on cloak.

Undo, because it has an unknown chance to fail when you cast it. It's been broken for a very long time, from paid content. It's hard to convince myself to buy another chapter until they fix this broken skill from the last chapter.

Usually broken skills are annoying to the person being targeted, but this one is annoying to the user.

the templar 0 gameplay only makes you play the spam spell that yes it's the most boring and confusing to deal with with this class too cheat!!!!

Playing in front of a templar doesn't make pvp interesting at all anymore, even DK doesn't scare me as much as before!

You say "Just use detect pots" like I can just craft those infinitely. I need to use corn flower to craft food as well. Check it: I have limited bar space and limited resources to throw AOE's around, hoping a night blade will be stupid enough to stand there. I've been criticized for picking the Ritual of Retribution morph over Extended Ritual, but that's the AOE that I can afford to slot because it has enough functions to make it worth slotting with limited bar space. I do as much as I can to be prepared for EVERY opponent. But there's only so much I can do to fight someone who cloaks, waits for me to walk away, and then tries to gank me. Yes, it's annoying as hell.

You shouldn't have any problem against a nightblade, especially as a templar...
Idk, maybe it's because i've mained a magblade for years and i know how they think, but i find these kind of nbs easy to kill.

Yup. People who still think NBs are okay should do themselves a favour and play one for a while.

You’ll see how easy they are to counter and how weak cloak really is.
Looking for any guildies I used to play with:

I honestly think most players should play a NB if you want to get good. Next time you die check your death recap and you’ll see how little people light attack and do pvp basics.

I play my magplar pretty closely to how I played my magblade when dark cloak was viable. Mist is like a mag dodge roll and way better then cloak for escape, and burst is way higher on a magplar then a magblade. Even on a magwarden if you still have your caluurion with swift traits gear kicking around it works better then on a magblade.

All cloak lets you do is choose opponents while going around in stealth. Cloak only really works for escape if you have a lot of separation.

Yeah, i use mist on my magwarden and works so well.
Btw i find Shadow Image a WAY better escape tool than Cloak is. If i had to complain about one NB skill it would be that one and not Cloak 😂

    snipe is just laggy

This is what I thought first.

Yesterday I struggled with 2 players grouping together who had a build specifically designed to Snipe you from the other side of BG and cloak away. It was clear from death recap they'd use distant stun, Snipe, poison, and whatever other dot.

The main issue not really being Sniped, but the fact I could not defend properly.

    - I can't reliably spot them as they cloak and stealth away at a far 30m+ distance. Which is rather unfair in BGs where you can't take cover. How do I know ? I came behind them while they were Sniping someone else.

    - I don't see the Snipe trail, I just sometimes see my health bar decrease. Most of the time I would go from full health to dead in a second. Half of the player appear "all-black" in BG, not because of dyes, but because their texture is just not loaded. Sometimes I would see AoEs as just a red ring on the ground without the related effects, sometimes the AoE is not displayed at all. How can I protect if I don't see what I'm walking on to ?

    - I guess this has to do with lag and health desync, but it's getting ridiculous to the point I have been able to walk and try to interact with relic to be captured for 2 seconds after getting killed. Couldn't grab it, obviously.

    - I can't confirm if the Sniping player was exploiting health desync or if I just had a bad connection at that moment. The lag issue I describe above is not constant. Sometimes the game just runs well, sometimes it's messy...

I don't pretend to be a progamer, or that I should be able to survive whatever and kill other players, but I can easily understand that being in a BG against players building for Snipe can disgust you from PvP.

What I would ask as a fix:
    1) better game performance. OfC.
    2) Snipe range reduced to 28m (Basically, nothing should hit further than 28m in BG)
    3) Better display of arrow trails. Most staff attacks are easy to spot on screen (when things run well), especially heavy attacks with their glowy and sparkling effects. I expect a red trail-line to be displayed so I can see where arrow comes from. Instead of nothing.
    4) BG grouping prioritized from connection quality. I can't blame others for somehow having a better connection than I do. But I guess it would be more fair to face people that have the same lag. So you guys with top-quality boxes can enjoy it together.
