See i understand everything you are saying when it makes sense. But you defending snipe desyncs is the most bias uneducated and ignorant thing ive seen in a while EP NA gt Skyshardz come at me.

Oh hell no, the desync is part of bad performance. I just dont like when people's only solution to desync is to decrease snipe damage.

Leveling an AD NB. Currently lvl 32.
    Dr Ganknstein

I noticed that my self... Everytime some one whines about snipe desync they automatically go right to the nerf damage argument as if nerfing snipe would fix desync itself. This shows the complainer has no clue about what health desync actually is or what causes it, whats even funnier is when players say snipers deliberately snipe desync or snipe glitch other players.

Every one has excuses for when they get killed but rarely look at themselves!

the problem here is ego driven mentality, this game enables this thought process in the mind, if youre an assassin youre bad and you need to get off the game because youre not playing the way i want you to play. Thats what it boils down to.

There is no 2 ways about it, its like every 0 skill snipe bot thinks they have gotten good enough to make a 1vX build, fail and get clapped then get back on their snipe blade to interupt small scale players that are outnumbered, I don’t think Ive seen a Clip from a player that is considered skilful with snipe on their bar

Hate all you want on snipe and the assassin playstyle, that just means its effective. I enjoy that playstyle and have killed good and bad players alike. I've brought justice to cyrodiil one arrow at a time.

I'd say the most annoying skill ever is the players ability to log onto the forums and cry in order to have whatever killed them nerfed.

I don't mind snipe spammers in battles, sieges etc. But somehow it's the "profession" that most often interrupts duels - I know Cyrodiil is not made for this, but when 2 honourable warriors meet, they'd like to fight on fair terms, you won't be ever treated and respected as one of them if you won' act like them.

Another thing is about in general fighting style. If they decide to attack someone and they fail, most snipers runs far away, then slowly gets back to try again but usually when you're occupied in other fight. I perfectly understand that they are glass canon not made to brawl, but nothing explains being an a****le. I've met at least few snipe spammers who tried to kill me time after time from 40m away, when I showed them they stand no chance to do so and tried to fight them, they ran away just to harass me trying to kill me when I was fighting with someone else (ofc they failed).

It's bad not because I felt harassed, but it was annoying, simple trolling done just to ruin our fun from playing.

There are other annoying skills, but snipe attracts unfortunately specific type of people (I'm not saying all of them are like that) which associates the skill with bad attitude :/

"We are currently investigating connection issues some players are having on the European megaservers. We will update as new information becomes available."
    — They always claim they’re “investigating” the causes, but in reality they’re just waiting until the PC EU players go to bed. Once that happens, you can suddenly log in again and they happily mark the issue as Fixed.

NBs have been nerfed for the last thousand patches. If you lose to one it's because either he is a good player or/and you are a bad one.
    Let them be.
Baradur Morker - Level 50 Bosmer Nightblade
    Le-Duck - Level 50 Dark Elf Dragonknight
    Boom-Stormer - Level 50 High Elf Sorcerer
Nemeliom the Great - Level 50 Redguard Warden
Crazy Little Maggie - Level 50 High Elf Templar

Cloak is a thousand times more annoying than snipe will ever be.

You don't have to pop a potion to counter snipe.

Cloak is the most annoying. It's because when I fight a NB and they're about to take that L, they cloak away. Then they try to attack from stealth again but when they fail to kill me, they cloak away again. So at a point, I get tired of the game and want to walk away. Since they've had to cloak so much, they should do the same. But they don't, they keep trying to attack from stealth and I'm just over it.

Yeah, sometimes nightblades have fun taking potshots or just keeping you busy. Its mischeif for its own sake. Invest in a handful of detect pots and use them for those that refuse to back off. Its not hard.

I like playing a bow blade. Generally, the people I kill get killed by playing predictably. There was a time...a loooooomg time ago...when players treated PvP as strategic. Now, the en,it’s run up to the same door and every keep, get into the same formation, and that has a lot to do with why there’s so much sniping.

You don't have to pop a potion for cloak either. Use any AoE ability, Magelight or Camo Hunter

I think I’ve seen this guy, it might be the same dude. Dude bots multiple accounts at once and uses it to hit snipe from 4+ dudes at the same time.

When I saw him doing it I had a flash back to EQ botting.

Issue isn’t really snipe, he could do it with multiple abilities and the coordinated botting is the issue.

I once saw him in a delve running with his 4 bots running behind him on my NB. I decided against trying to jump him.

Looking for any guildies I used to play with:
    Havoc Warhammer - Alair
LoC EQ2 - Mayi and Iskiab
PRX and Tabula Rasa - Rift - Iskiab
Or anyone else I used to play games with in guilds I’ve forgotten

The new Turn Evil. It's extremely broken, and sometimes has no cooldown whatsoever. You can get feared indefinitely, breaking free but being feared again same fraction of a second - and watch yourself die while looking like you are drunk dancing with a migraine.

The issue displayed in the video is something specific to snipe, and doesn't involve bots, or even multiple characters targeting the player that was recording (if you pause his death recap on that ultra-laggy website, you can see that all the snipes were from the same person). Snipe can sometimes cause the game to get de-sync'd, and from the "victim's" perspective it looks like all the damage only happens once the final snipe lands, with no indications before that which would show that you were even under attack. Notice how the player's Magicka and Stamina both bottom out and become unusable at the same time, before his health does; he's actually dead at that point, though still moving and jumping around from his own perspective.

With snipe typically being less common in BGs, I don't experience it as much as some people, but it does happen. I actually died "out of nowhere" due to snipe in a Chaos Ball game recently...standing around in my own base holding the ball, with no enemies visible, and suddenly drop dead instantly with multiple snipes in the death recap.

I know this has been said a lot but... Just use detect pots and/or an AOE dude. The kind of nightblade you are describing falls so easily once they can't rely on cloak.

You say "Just use detect pots" like I can just craft those infinitely. I need to use corn flower to craft food as well. Check it: I have limited bar space and limited resources to throw AOE's around, hoping a night blade will be stupid enough to stand there. I've been criticized for picking the Ritual of Retribution morph over Extended Ritual, but that's the AOE that I can afford to slot because it has enough functions to make it worth slotting with limited bar space. I do as much as I can to be prepared for EVERY opponent. But there's only so much I can do to fight someone who cloaks, waits for me to walk away, and then tries to gank me. Yes, it's annoying as hell.

You shouldn't have any problem against a nightblade, especially as a templar...
Idk, maybe it's because i've mained a magblade for years and i know how they think, but i find these kind of nbs easy to kill.
Inb4: "oh you are a NB, that explains everything". Not anymore, i main a magicka warden now.

The only player I fear as a Magplar is a Stamsorc. That hurricane eats me up. Such is life.

I also spent years with detect spells and gave them up like 6 months ago. Maybe I get ganked 1 extra time a night. Not a big deal.

So I’ll throw my vote in for the hurricane. It’s hard enough to play keep away as is, last thing I need is someone who can stand next to me and kill my health without having to target for like 15 seconds.

Hurricane is even more annoying when you play nightblade xD
