ChatBox in middle of Screen
For no apparent reason my chatbox moved to the middle right of the screen. It blocks my inventory and well looks ugly and is not practical. I cant move it back. Treid relogging/restarting/restarting my PC and nothing changes. Sent bug reports and in game help.. no help from anywhere, SO, any advice?

Faolanhart✭✭✭I have a similar issue, right after a loading screen the chatbox moved to the right a bit, not as drastic as your issue but it's kinda irritating.
Most MMOs these days allow you to move things like this around for customization reasons & so that issues like these don't happen.
I have tried using /reloadui also but that has not worked.
Neither has changing the resolution, quitting & logging back in or putting it in fullscreen.
What it looks like on my other character. A minor change but still annoying.

If not I'd look for a default settings option and see if that helps. Beyond that, backing up and deleting whatever file holds the options would be what I tried next, but I don't know what file that would be offhand.I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones. -Albert Einstein0 -

you should be able to resize it. expand it left to the edge then down to the edge. then shorten the top and right sides0

I'm not gonna mess around with the files. The game is buggy enough without me making it worse haha.
I'm just glad that there is a minimize option, I'll just have to leave it there until it's fixed. Besides there are far more annoying bugs in the game such as the Our Poor Town quest bug.
Won't miss out on much beyond guild chatter & gold spam.
Can you right click the chat box and get more options? Look around for a lock/unlock window option. I know the game UI lacks many basic functions but I'd hope this one would not have been overlooked.

Yeah I figured this one out (after an embarrasingly long time) that I just needed to click on the 'chat' tab to drag the box... felt like a total head box afterwards I can tell ya!0
