I mean, honestly, you are getting really worked up here over pretty much nothing, OP, and people are right to tell you to calm down a bit.
If you really want to be upset about something as a PS4 player, there are other, more pressing issues you can - rightfully - vent about.

When speaking of obtaining content. I mean the pre-order. As in being able to pay ahead of time like others. I am not speaking of the horse. Considering I have not brought the damn thing up til now, but numerous dismissive posters like yourselves have. It should have been obvious by now that I don't care for the thing. Or I would have said so. Its not like I haven't complained in the past about such trivial things.I mean, honestly, you are getting really worked up here over pretty much nothing, OP, and people are right to tell you to calm down a bit.
The only thing you could possibly claim I am getting worked up about is the rather annoying comments that attempt to shut down the thread with basically "I dont really care about this problem but I still dont want you to discuss it so Ill pretend youre freaking out" sort of comments. I am rather done with these kind of responses. For as helpful and friendly as this community can be. This forum is full of tiresome individuals that feel the need to inject their annoyance into any discussion even when it does not impact them.If you really want to be upset about something as a PS4 player, there are other, more pressing issues you can - rightfully - vent about.
Thank you ever so much for telling me what I should be doing with my time on the forums. It gets quite confusing at times, and so its important for someone to arrogantly tell me whats more important to me.

The issue is you immediately blamed them for the delay without any facts. What if ZOS did the absolute best job they could? If it's purely on Sony, then you have no reason to blame ZOS for it.

Maybe this is something some might find weird to complain about. Seeing as so many feel a certain way about pre-orders. But leaving 1/3rd of your community unable to purchase your biggest content release of the year with no word on when that will be rectified is unacceptable. The community is obviously excited about this announcement and rumors and chatter about what we already know is plastered all over our social media feeds from facebook to reddit to here. And while PS4 players can actively discuss this announcement, thus far we are not able to participate with our wallets. For some, that definitely puts a damper on our excitement. Which is not what ZOS should want.
We deserve communication, we deserve an explanation (though its doubtful you'll bother giving one to us).
Most likely it's on Sony's end. They're pretty fickle with what gets uploaded
They weren't fickle about advertising it on their twitter. Seems strange that they would be okay with uploading preorders for just about any other big release when its announced but not one of their biggest MMOs that has routinely been at the top of their best sellers including add-ons.
Personally I'm not going to play the blame-game. ZOS is ultimately responsible for making sure their content is out there for their customers/consumers to obtain. Trying to shift the blame to Sony without any sort of evidence doesn't make ZOS any less responsible.

This. It also seems weird to complain about something 4 months ahead of time as though if the issue is not rectified today the world will end.
Its weird to complain that out of the last 4 Chapter announcements that the PS4 community is the only platform that has no means of purchasing the digital content that the other platforms currently do? And there is no word on when this will be fixed?
Obviously it will be rectified. No one is debating that. So you and everyone else in here with the "calm down" "itll be fine" comments are going to finally admit you didn't actually read the OP and simply just decided to be dismissive? Because the complaint is that it happened at all, and that we have no word on when it will be fixed. Not that the launch is 4 months from now, or that the world is going to end because they or Sony goofed up.

But it's not a ZOS issue (Jessica clearly stated in the video that this was beyond their control).
It's a Sony issue.
So why are you demanding answers from ZOS and that THEY get it fixed? You should be directing this at Sony, on Sony's forum.
EDIT: Oh, I see from your other responses that you apparently think Jessica lied, since she didn't show you the evidence that it's a Sony issue.
Nevermind dude. You're just intent on being a headache.

I'm intent on being a headache because I believe there needs to be proof before we lay this at Sonys feet? Well okay then.
The only place this game was available for the first 24 hours was the Bethesda Store. Gamestop was reporting that they did not even have it on their radar and Amazon/Best Buy/Gamestop was only able to update their sites today with actual images of game art and the game cover. None of this happens with other game releases and most of the time its not days later that images and webpages for the sale of an item are being created unless the publisher didnt do their damn jobs. In most announcements the retailers have what they need ahead of the announcement. Not days later.
If anyones the headache here its the whiny fanbois like yourself that come out of the woodwork hellbent on attacking people for criticizing the company.

Ok, then.

Their announcement, their content. Their responsibility. Even if Sony is somehow to blame here, which we dont have evidence of either. Its ZOS job to ensure things run smoothly for their game and their content announcements.

Uhm, no. It's your choice to play the game through a third party. I played FFXI on PS and I will never again play an online game on anything but a PC. Too many issues and no way to know who is responsible.
