Not trying to stir the pot, but why the outrage about the pre-order for ps4 not being available yet? I tried to understand by reading/skimming comments, but I'm still a little confused. We on ps4 know that it WILL come soon after the other platforms like usual, why does it matter if we can't pre-order at the same time? Is there some irl race to get it or something? If ZOS has to keep a few things under their hat to work with SONY, then so be it.

She said it was an issue outside of their control and that players are still covered for the prepurchase items if they purchase later. If you're demanding an explanation, demand it from Sony. Not everything is ZOS' fault.

They weren't fickle about advertising it on their twitter. Seems strange that they would be okay with uploading preorders for just about any other big release when its announced but not one of their biggest MMOs that has routinely been at the top of their best sellers including add-ons.

None of this happens with other game releases and most of the time its not days later that images and webpages for the sale of an item are being created unless the publisher didnt do their damn jobs. In most announcements the retailers have what they need ahead of the announcement. Not days later.

If anyones the headache here its the whiny fanbois like yourself that come out of the woodwork hellbent on attacking people for criticizing the company.

You probably need to go get a job at Bethesda in the marketing and sales area. That is really the only way you will come to understand complexities that come with coordinating product pre-orders. It is also the only way you will get your answers. Maybe Bethesda wanted to be the only store selling Greymoor for a few hours. Maybe they could not coordinate unlocking Greymoor across all retail outlets that was timed to the event. Maybe some of these places have to wait until a certain hour of the day, at which time they update everything in their store, and the reveal was not timed ideally for them.

ZOS says it it not in their control, and that is a truthful statement on a couple levels. No "fanboi" needed to know that.

while small, it is possible that sony sees all the issues and calls about the base game and do not want to put it up for preorder with worries of lots of calls for refunds.

If that is the case, sony should make it known so the issue hits the big websites

Not your pc..... Trying to find a mp game like battlefront or battlefield where there wasnt one guy with an aimbot on was near impossible

mp on pc sucks compared to console its not even remotely close.

and no aimbots and such on consoles is very very rare and people tend to get banned fast
