With how successful this MMO is there is no excuse they can't hire more developers and push out content for both areas of the game. PvP or PvE, we should both be agreeing that conditions are unacceptable from an MMO that ranks 1-3 on most lists (typically 1-2)
Problem is it's not PvP that is succesfull. PvP actually is Achilles heal of ESO when it comes to popularity and ZoS is fully aware of that and dont give much of attention to PvP.[/quote
While I disagree, it doesn't excuse the fact that they are successful enough to not neglect either portion of the game.

You think with one trial per year the PvE endgame crowd is satisfied?
I think the PvP community is highly underestimated.
Nevertheless I think by far the biggest amount of players is made up of casuals who don’t do trials, vet dungeons or PvP at all. I‘d say they make at least 50% of the entire playerbase.
We're getting AN ENTIRE SIEGE WEAPON!!!
Yeah, PvE is getting a new Trial, 4 new dungeons and 40+ hours of new overland content again this year, just like it has gotten every year for the past 4 years. (I mean Morrowind, Summerset, Eleswyr and now Dark Heart. It's all the same content just reskinned with new locations and characters.)
But WOW! ONE SIEGE WEAPON!
Thanks Zenimax, this is what the PvP community has been asking for!!
Here's a revolutionary idea: delete your game and go play overwatch, if you want PvP that bad. That's all they have over there.
And I gave you this genius idea for free. Enjoy.

Don't be a game dev. If your solution is to ignore a gametype because people criticize your shortcomings, not only is that petty, but it's absurd.

Nice suggestion man, have you thought about it yourself?
New PvP content would ruin PvP. Players already complain about low population. Add a new area and the population will be even more spread out and the PvP world will appear all but empty.
They should kill pvp so they can balance pve and give full attention towards pve.
You can only develop game story by doing pve content like in every other mmo so what u expected?
PvP does not make money for the game. Yes, I know there are performance issues as I deal with them. Regardless, PvE based games like ESO serve themselves better by focusing on the game content that drives revenue and that is PvE.

What kind of content do you want to be added to PvP exactly?
New Battleground Maps?
Cyrodil is the warzone - do you want another warzone?
Do you want another zone like Imperial City?
Do you want more / varied gear rewards? Motifs?
What should ZOS add to PvP?

It would be absurd if the community was actually large (and thus profitable). It isn't and hasn't been for years. That's why all PvPers get each update is a token addition like a seige weapon, a Battleground map, or a few lines of code to change the eligibility entry requirements for a campaign.

If they only cater to large audiences, why do they keep adding vet dungeons and trials with HMs that almost nobody runs?
Is it just so Mike can keep his job? Can't he do anything else in the studio?
I'm guessing reskin. Maybe coldfire oils or something in that line.Dusk_Coven wrote: »Everyone guess what the siege weapon will be! Hopefully it won't be just a reskin.
And since it's in Antiquities, it'll be lore related somehow...
