✭RivenspireI'm not ashamed to say that I am a bit of a Verandis Ravenwatch fangirl, so Rivenspire takes the win. The story was pretty interesting, too and the circular layout of the zone is somewhat unique. Artaeum is cool because of its ethereal nature, but I do like Rivenspire a bit more

✭RivenspireOh gods this is hard. Both of them have Darien, not gonna help it this time.
I'll go with Rivenspire, because of Verandis. Both storylines had depressing ending but no-deaths one is more appealing to me. Overall I do like Artaeum a lot, close call, but constant daylight with Magnus floating nearby is kinda tiresome.

✭✭✭✭✭ArtaeumI saw the two choices when I opened the thread, and thought to myself this is just unfair, how can anything go against Artaeum, let alone Rivenspire... but then I found that Rivenspire was actually ahead, and remembered this is not just about the landcape.. so now I don't know. I picked Artaeum because the scenery is just breathtaking, and I'd love to live in Ceporah Tower, but Rivenspire on the other hand has one of the most unforgettable and well-written zone stories, imo, so I'll be pretty happy with either one winning.3 -

✭✭✭✭✭ArtaeumDislike both. I always thought I like Rivenspire but the layout of the zone is so awful and I absolutely hate the final story quests there.
It’s a really cool zone with a nice story and great places but it’s become unbearable for me. So I go with Artaeum.

✭✭✭RivenspireConsidering that on Artaeum, there's not really all that much happening, this was still a somewhat tough choice.
I don't like vampires, and even more so vampires trying to be friendly. Or tragic. Or anything really other than the glorified mosquitoes that they are. ;D So Rivenspire has a huge disadvantage.
But it's a complete zone, still, has Crypt of Hearts, Shornhelm is decent for a run-of-the-mill medieval town, and there's some nice landscape and quests.0 -

✭RivenspireRivenspire is my favourite zone! I thought the story and NPCs were really well-written and I hope to hear more from them someday.
Artaeum is gorgeous - visually I like it a lot more than Rivenspire - but most of my time there has been spent porting back and forth doing those repetitive Psijic skill quests which isn't something I've found particularly enjoyable.PC NA & EU || Mammoth Guilds - Victory or Valhalla || Altmer sorcerer main

✭RivenspireRivenspire is one of my favourite zones, together with jungles like Malabal tor. Usually I don't really like monotonous and brown coloured or post apacolyptal zones (they are just plain ugly). Rivenspire falls into this category, but I think they designed it very good. The towering rocks and canyons in between give you a feeling you're travelling through real harsh terrain. The music also perfectly fits the zone and is imo one of the best in ESO. The questline of Rivenspire is also very good, if not the best. Could spend ages in this zone!0 -

Dont think this is a very fair match up, Artaeum is really lovely, but there is very little to do there compared to a fully developed region like Rivenspire, & in fact a lot of the story actually happens outside Artaeum! I enjoyed both zones, but based on volume & quality of content it has to be Rivenspire.
If it was aesthetics only, Artaeum would win it hands down for me, but surely that cannot be how we judge a zones worth alone.0 -

Rivenspire, whilst very dull in terms of colour, has an excellent zone story and boasts a great atmosphere which complements the visual design of the area.Struggling to find a new class to call home.Please send help.1 -

✭RivenspireTough one. Both zones have good story, great npcs and some interesting locations. Rivenspire wins out by being bigger (thus having more in it) and not having that semi artificial look that all Altmer zones do.0 -
